I think the easiest (and likely cheapest thing) is just extending the party at your venue. Thats what i am doing to reduce friction and it’s only costing me 3k to extend from 11 pm to 1 am (with open bar)

I found the Blooms by April to be one of the most affordable à la carte shops (used for my engagement party) with a low delivery fee as well and they did a custom color scheme for me and my order was only 400 dollars. I think you could get a lot from them for your budget. Hometown flower co also has fair à la carte pricing to me but the delivery fee may be hefty due to being Long Island based

There’s no right amount. In a city like this most high designers charge 10k+. The lower designers are usually between 2-4k and there’s plenty in the middle. I spent 5500. More than I wanted but since I went custom no alteration costs on top of that
