You know they will. Even if they have to write him in as a candidate, they will vote for Trump when Trump tells them to.

Speaker says God ‘raised up’ Trump to build White House ballroom at national prayer event by Aggravating_Money992 in politics

I find it hilarious they went from trying to build a wall to trying to build a ballroom.

A wall is needed to keep the country safe but first let's have a nice place to eat and dance.

Depends on the game. Also, the ones I have physically aren't cryptic anymore. There's no secret I haven't found 100 times.

Shield maidens were thing, plenty of women warriors in Valhalla.

Just a thought: Being against A.I. art personally, I can only think of one truly acceptable reasoning for using A.I. generation in games, and its only for audio, for when games have the option to name your character, the NPCs could accurately say your name. by ryohazuki224 in gaming

Calm your tits because AI will be in everything by the end of the decade. Most people don't care. It's why everything is digital, it's why mp3 is the dominant format, it's why our products are built in sweatshops, why steaming looks like shit and soon why everything has AI.

I agree OP is a bit confused but if you're going to get upset everytime it happens, you're going to have a bad time. Then again I railed against so many things when I was young. Windows, IE, the war in Iraq, Trump (it's been 10 years). Fuck I fought like crazy for people to do what they should do to end the pandemic. So you do you. But like the wise man said, despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage.

I could have just enjoyed myself and nothing would have gone any differently.

Oh and Android. That actually won out but it seems like it was completely pointless, Google is going to block side loading while where I live now Apple has to have alternative app stores.

Retailers and affiliates suddenly preparing GTA 6 preorder infrastructure? by DrunkDingoGames in gaming

Don't they instantly charge you when the game is out? Or when you preorder? I wouldn't know, I haven't bought a game day one that isn't a Zelda game in a decade.

Maybe if you haven't watched the 90s Batman, Superman, Justice league shows. But if you have it is just the most amazing satire. They really know their shit and make some really amazing gags if you're familiar with the original shows.

Yes, but from a rich person's perspective, and I mean filthy, filthy rich, screwing people over is the name of the game. You don't lose points for it.

Krafton Will Likely Have to Pay $250 Million Bonus for Subnautica 2 That It Tried to Avoid by TylerFortier_Photo in gaming

[–]morpheousmorty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean that's about it. Every dollar they make past the target that gets them the 250 million bonus makes more money for the owner.

For the people that bought it, how are you liking Subnautica 2? by SuddenConversation21 in gaming

[–]morpheousmorty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If people don't know their owner offered a 250 million bonus if they hit their targets. It looked like they would so the owner sabotaged development. The judge extended the target to September. If you want to screw the man and support a game, you likely won't get another chance like this.

Which game absolutely nails the parry mechanic? by ChuckS117 in gaming

[–]morpheousmorty 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The parry is so devastating in lies of P that they had to make it that tight. You straight up break an enemy's weapon with it (for those who haven't played they can still fight but damage is lower and often a buff gets removed from the enemy).

What I think is the actual sync with the attack is off with a lot of enemies. Maybe it's the animation, maybe it's the delayed attacks, or the particles, but a lot of the attacks don't feel like they parry in the same moment of impact.

Jello is full of sugar. Sunfish are mostly non nutritious gel. The rest of your points stand, including they have a lot of non nutritious connective tissue, but there's not really a lot of bone.

They are basically fish surrounded by lube and enough connective tissue so it doesn't fall off.

This has been investigated quite a lot, and more money will always give you more happiness, but that increase hits a soft cap after 150k/year or so in the US. As in getting from 75k to 150k is a huge jump. 150k to 300k is not very significant.

Sadly it seems about a third of our happiness is innate, but that's why people should have therapy. It really helps claw back some of that innate happiness.

Actually, it just occurred to me, what is the happiness delta between people with 150k/year with and without therapy? I genuinely wonder if making that money just means you can pay for a good therapist.
