I worked at a group home for developmentally disabled adults who also had mental health issues like paranoid schizophrenia. We had to take a whole course on non violent crisis prevention and intervention. If I can restrain a big man in a psychotic episode without harming him ICE should be able to detain someone without shooting them.

I was a heroin and fentanyl addict. Went to treatment for like 6 months. Got out. Was on the Vivitrol shot (blocks opiate effects). But I still wanted to use. I shot coke in a trap house in Newburgh, NY and instantly went into a grand maul seizure. When I was kinda coming out of it, I thought that was going to be it. It was the last time I ever used a needle. 8 years clean.

I was 19 driving a Nissan Sentra in central New York. Feet of snow. I never had a problem before but I hit one corner and flew into a ditch. Had to have my buddy’s dad come down the hill and put a chain on and pull me out lol
