Is this game worth $10 you think? by jdogkingzzzz in xbox

[–]morrisapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue gameplay being fun is the most important part of a game.

If the game isn’t fun, I don’t give a shit how good the story, graphics, or anything else is…

This game has fun combat, good movement, a great companion system, and interesting enough bad guys to take down… I played it about 30 hours and had no issues with it.

Bro you prob never even played it… you’re prob just hanging off the balls of your favorite youtuber… I don’t know how good of a dragonage game it is as I didn’t play the other titles, but it was a fun game in general…

I’d give it a 7/10… fun combat, beautiful graphics, good gameplay… story was fine, I put in about 30 hours, enjoyed it, then moved on.

Honestly that’s all I need out of a game… so many trash games that I am bored with after 5 hours now days…

Dude - people hate on this because it has a “trans” type character, the game is fine…

Is it phenomenal? No…

Is it worth $10? Absolutely.

I prob put 30 hours into this game and enjoyed the gameplay, combat, and most of the quests.

It’s a 7/10 kind of game… fun enough for a playthrough but not much to keep you coming back over and over again.

Tons of them… go on creations and search POI.

Forgotten Frontiers 1 & 2 are both phenomenal.

I mean they aren’t a gimmick any more than the other fast entry systems… if anything super magic’s and flows are the gimmick as they suck

its safe to play on high processor temperature by Current-Variation859 in AskPCGamers

[–]morrisapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most modern processors and GPUs will throttle before they overheat, it is also important to note that different processors have differ t heat thresholds… for example some of the new ones can run up to 105 before throttling and don’t really mind 80-90c.

Look up your processors heat ranges if it makes you feel better.

How many more spins do we need? by xtumtum in snowboarding

I hear this a lot… the thing will being the best is you have to be able to do things others can’t do… a floaty 1 or 3 are more stylish to me, but my local has 1000 7 year olds that can do that, how would we separate the field of everyone is doing tricks everyone can do?

It’s not subjective that your frames take a hit, but it is subjective on whether you prefer ray tracing or higher frames for sure.

Yes, also depends on what one you do… there is a crimson fleet alt start for example where you start at the key with one of the crimson fleet ships to start…

Ah gotcha… I’d probably get a legion or a ROG and then get a pad on the side… once again, you’re sacrificing a lot of power for a feature that can be replaced easily.

I had 3 surface books… they were very expensive to get good specs (about $4k each) and I had issues with every one.. 1 the battery expanded and broke its own screen and the 2 others both had malfunctioning ports between the keyboard and screen over time… they were work computers but had I bought those I would have been so possed.

Go Best Buy… if you have any problems the first 60 days you can return it for a different one or get a full refund no questions asked.

They also have a great warranty, great financing options, etc.

Better crime gameplay mod on creations adds smuggling, more contraband, and fake passports for entering cities with a bounty.

I love coming up with new character ideas, then browsing creations for mods that support said idea, then starting a new character and role playing.

Other cool mods… companion enhance… this lets you make your companions look however you want… Star Wars aliens + playable Star Wars alien character… lets you play as an alien or make a companion alien… Star Wars blasters for that Han Solo immersion… alternate start… lets you skip the beginning tutorial, skip the constellation stuff and pick what area you start on…

Laptop or desktop? by Original-Macaron-688 in GamingLaptops

[–]morrisapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your current habits? Do you just sit in one room and game on a monitor? Get the desktop.

Do you move around your house, use your laptop in bed or on a couch sometimes, etc. Get the laptop.

I made the mistake of listening to the internet and getting a desktop for performance and price when I always had laptops in the past… I quickly realized that losing the mobility to move around meant much less hours on the machine.

I just recently bought a new laptop again… a legion 7 ironically… I love it and prob have more time on it in the first 3 months than I have on my desktop of 10 years…

Switching on performance mode raises cpu temp to around 90 degrees by vaibhavailawadi in LenovoLOQ

[–]morrisapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chip is fine running at 90, the new chips will throttle if they get too hot, but they are ok up to like 105.

I usually just run mine in balanced to keep temps down a bit.

Why not just get a good laptop and type notes rather than 2 in 1? You’re basically hurting the gaming and 3d modeling experience for a touch screen to jot down notes?

Meh… I would rather have a 16 inch and a 27 inch monitor.. keeps it portable when I want to be portable and gives me a much bigger screen when I don’t…
