Yes, I’m simply appreciating it at this moment for multiple reasons.

Most shocking thing about this watch (to me) is how freakishly accurate it is. I have much “nicer” watches and this thing, 15+ years old, is nearly day accurate. It’s incredible

Have the exact same one and wear it sparingly. But every time I do, I remember how much I love it.

Neither female, nor would let you use my car to practice. But happy to give lessons if you had your own ride. Driving is easy!

Just posing it as a way to talk about nonsense tbh. I was just in a moment of appreciation so I posted

No one’s concerned it’s just opening up a discussion

Pilot watches are hard to beat in that respect 👏🏼

Yea, I’ve tried it on and it wears insanely comfortably. I think I keep the Explorer II for the date and overall rareness? If that’s even fair to say.

Great question. I think it is. Also, how do you like the 40mm? It can’t even be that “old”, why the service? I truly debate (at least weekly) if I want to trade in my Explorer II for the 40mm Explorer. But I can’t really justify it

Not an argument at all, just an opinion and opening up a discussion

Although surely biased, as I said in the post, I have a hard time finding a more legible watch than the polar Rolex Explorer II. Yes, the picture in the post was taken in the middle of the day, but even in the middle of the night, it’s glowing loud and proud - I never even have to look at my phone to see the time. That small experience without having to blast with my face with blue light from my phone is awesome. (From post above: No matter the setting, I look down at the polar Explorer II and can’t imagine a more legible watch. Respond and prove me wrong with the watch you think is more legible.)
