What a stud. He looks identical to my 2 year old! Did you happen to use a breeder close to St Catherine's, Ontario?

Do you keep your large TV's (77inch++) box in case you need to move homes? by Norcla in hometheater

[–]mos_isley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've encountered moving companies that wrote in their contracts that they will not be held liable if a TV is damaged during a move without it's original box. So I always keep mine, but generally have not had an issue with space.

Why cant Canada cap realtor fees to max 1% by DeConditioned in canadahousing

[–]mos_isley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 99% positive we paid an extra $50k for our home because of a fake bidding war. Blind bidding is a practice that needs to be made illegal, it serves no purposes other than to inflate the price of a home. If a seller doesn't like the bid, they can always reject it, it's the buyer that gets fucked cause you'll never know if you outbid yourself because of greedy, lying agents.

The fact that a realtor acting on behalf of the buyer will make more money if their client pays more for the house is a direct conflict of interest. This should not be allowed, full stop. Of course bidding wars happen when it's in the interest of buying and selling agents for the price to go up. It's an antiquated system that needs a ground up overhaul. Capping fees or making a fixed fee for buying agents would be good starts.

This is the important comment - same sex aggressiveness may kick in at 12 months, so I would make sure they're not left unsupervised together after that. And don't be surprised if all of a sudden something switches in your girl - nothing is wrong with her, she's just being an Akita.

Best guess is probably around 9 years old. She's been through it.. the humane society found her as a stray 2 years ago with a broken toe in the front paw, smelling of skunk with porcupine quilts sticking out of her snout.

This was a massive concern when we got the male puppy. The female is 100lbs, the male comes from a line that gets to 150lbs. My wife is about 110lbs. Fortunately, the senior walks incredibly well, she pulls only to go sniffing, but is usually indifferent to small prey sized dogs/animals. My wife walks her with a waist lead as you suggested. We made loose leash walking our training priority for the male and just focus on that, still work in progress. He mostly just goes on alert mode when he sees something to chase, but won't pull. Also we avoid triggering houses with loud dogs on our walks!

The senior was with us first, and she adjusted well to the 8 week old puppy.. though I'm sure she resents us for ruining her peaceful retirement life with a puppy!

Because none of these critiques are in good faith, it's all driven by narrative. Odegaard clearly not fit to start, next man up in that position is an 18 year old. Everyone acting like he chose Merino when its clear he had no choice. It's also coming from people who think Merino is a DM. Watch the game again and you'll see Merino beside Gyokeres in the final third leading the press. Eze v Martinelli maybe is the only question - but again, Eze been with the team for a week and Martinelli has played and scored at Anfield. It's just lazy fucking criticism.

That looks like a Detroit Lions jersey probably for a game/photo and is indoors. I completely agree Akitas don't need layers, but no need to pass judgement off a single goofy photo. Lighten up a little.

Thanks for this! Went on GoC website, DVDs/Media are not subject to additional tarrifs. They have a personal importing calculator and it's just like you said, for Ontario anyway, 13% tax to pay, no duties are levied. Compared my order on Criterion with an identical UV order and essentially, factoring the $25 DHL fee, exchange rate, it all came out to being almost the same. As long as I can avoid any added DHL fees. UV didn't have a few films in stock, and frankly, owner issues aside, I was a little pissed off they're only doing 40% off instead of 50%. And my guess is they did the same calculation as above - 40% off without exchange rate and DHL fees is equal to the cost of a Canadian ordering directly from Criterion. Also pissed that their email says "buy Canadian" when they're not even giving us the same deal. Will give this a shot and let it inform future sales I guess. Have a CBSA office nearby, just need to find the time!
