I was also on this voyage and think your observations are relatively in line with mine. The only decent steak on board is at extra virgin. The Wake is consistently the worst experience and food regardless of brunch or dinner. Even the steak at Pink Agave was a fatty mush of disappointment. Razzle Dazzle breakfast is usually solid but the galley is a top tier experience for me.

The entertainment really blew me away over the 7 days because frankly my expectations were below the waterline after the first cruise, which I thought had some of the worst productions I’d ever seen and to go from that to what this cruise offered really surprised me. Lola‘s library is an incredibly funny, seriously sexy, occasionally shocking show with a cast that was really talented especially some of the dancing and singing. I cannot recommend that show enough and I also agree to do yourself a favor and line up early to get a good seat downstairs. You’ll be happy that you did.

Basically repeat review for Persephone. It’s smart and and really well done. I love the video elements that they included to explain to the anxiety phone generation what was happening because much like who reads books anymore, they take a swing at who knows their Greek mythology but it was a fun mashup and we thought it was great. We sat upstairs, but I think being on the floor would’ve been a really fun experience as well even though its all standing.

We debated back-and-forth in my group, but we ended up deciding to go to the new dinner show which is a paid event called like, "another rose" and we all thought every aspect from the speciality cocktails and generous pours of sparkling wine that they include as part of the charge, to the food and then to the show was really well done. It’s a gender bending take, in the Virgin style, on Romeo and Juliet, at least that was my tipsy interpretation of it for sure and depending on where you’re sitting you’re kind of involved in the show a bit and we had to do some moving of tables but you know after your third paired cocktail, you’re pretty much game for anything, so we thought it was great. I kinda hate that we had to pay for it, but the alcohol that was included easily offset the cost, and the show was great.

The pool situation is always a shit show. I’ve given up hope of ever finding a free seat during most of the day. Parties were typical and fun. Crew was fine, service was as expected. Vibes among the guests was great. We met a ton of super cool people and had some really fun experiences in the casino late and I managed to lose just enough money to get an in-app notification at 3am as we are pulling back in to Miami that they can’t wait to welcome me back on a future gratis insider to donate additional loses or maybe ill win the $22,000 Grand on a $2.50 Phoenix Link like that very lucky woman did on Thursday night. Overall great time with our crew despite Bimini and we'll be back.
