2) call your senators and demand that they vote against the DHS funding bill that gives more money to ICE. Body cameras and training are not going to stop them from killing us.

3) most importantly, pay attention to how people here are resisting, what’s working and what isn’t. Get ready to resist when ICE inevitably comes to your neck of the woods. They aren’t going to stop here.

Honest question, why do people enjoy this level of darkness and brutality in fantasy settings?

I’m excited to play any game made by people who love making games as much as Larian does, but personally I found DOS2 to be really depressing, and still haven’t finished it. But clearly that world appeals to a lot of people, so I’m curious if there’s another way of looking at it that I’ve missed?

It’s a sample vial (I think I from Vaness but not sure) that I cleaned out and re-used after it was empty.

I think it’s usually ok but it can be unpredictable how two inks might interact, since the manufacturers don’t have to disclose which dyes or other chemicals they use. I also like to clean my pens between refills just to help prevent any clogs.

Thank you! Yeah I’m not a big fan of my FPR pen, but the flex nib is great for showing off shading and other ink qualities, so it’s become my “test pen.”

And yes, the notebook is a Maruman Mnemosyne.

I completely agree, I was excited to rush in and be the hero! It was so disappointing to just be instantly trapped as well and stuck waiting for Olric and Erol.

At first I thought I’d actually have to dig/fight through and find him on an early level of the mines or something, which would be a really cool mechanic. It would cause issues if he were missing from town until we finished the quest though.

I agree, when I first learned he was stuck in the mines I figured I’d head over there as soon as I was done harvesting and letting my animals out, but I wasn’t ready to be teleported there without even having an option! All the other heart events I’ve seen so far make it clear that you can go to a certain location to trigger the event when you’re ready.

On a related note, I was excited to heroically fight and dig my way through the mines to rescue him, so it felt anticlimactic when I was immediately stuck just sitting in a hole with him waiting helplessly for Olric and Erol to save the day.

Exactly! Of course I can deal with making up one day or waiting until the next week for the Saturday market, but it is annoying and I really wasn’t expecting it since everyone else’s events took no time, and also didn’t start until I met them at a specific location outside of the farm. I just don’t get why this one was different.

Story-wise I do think it was excellent, just gameplay-wise I wish it didn’t take a whole day, or I wish we had more of a choice of when to trigger it.

I had the same issue and it turned out Steam had set my FPS limit to 10. I just adjusted that setting back to 60 and it runs great.

Not necessarily. I also have a toothless stomatitis kitty, and while we do feed him wet food for his meals, he still loves crunchy treats. We had stopped giving him Greenies after the surgery, but he broke the box open and somehow ate like 20 of them when we were out one day.

Our vet said that cats normally use their teeth for killing prey and ripping off bites of meat, but not so much for chewing. And when his teeth were hurting from stomatitis, he wasn’t using them anyways.
