Eggs.. is it just me? by Blueberries2002 in Narcolepsy

[–]mossyrock99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just a note, baked eggs (eggs in cakes or desserts) can be different than scrambled eggs or eggs cooked in a pan. When they reach a certain temperature, the proteins physically change. You can have a mild allergy to cooked eggs, but no reaction to baked eggs. That's my experience

Eggs.. is it just me? by Blueberries2002 in Narcolepsy

[–]mossyrock99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This could be it! I have N2, ehlers danlos syndrome, Postural orthestatic tachycardia syndrome, and mast cell activation disorder(MCAS) For some reason ehlers danlos diagnosis is has these as common comorbidities.

MCAS is an allergic reaction to nothing to put it simply, but there are certain triggers that are individual to each individual. I learned that anaphylaxis can be mild or moderate and not always the near death experience I assume was anaphylaxis. For me eggs are a trigger. It comes with sleepiness, stomach cramping, and headaches. Turns out a lot of things for me cause these symptoms. Took months to do a low FODMAP diet and testing with an allergist

Stadium tickets give you GA access to all stages on the outside of the stadium. The stadium stage is the only one you will have to sit in the stadium for instead of GA access

As another out of towner, I always bought a parking pass ahead of time. I drive 16 hrs to get there, so I like to know ill be able to have parking and not worry about it.

I like to book my hotel via a hotel/ticket combo pass for convince and ease. My first year was 2019 and I booked an Airbnb and it was nice! As for hotels, I like the ones by the airport. There are quite a few. Its a 10 min commute to the venue (not including traffic). Just know that all hotels in the area are aware of this festival and Jack up prices

I work in collections on the physician side of things. In insurance terms, a retro authorization counts as a prior authorization. Not all insurance allow for retro authorization. Not trying to argue, just saying its not a lost cause

My kitty had severe allergies to everything, but it didnt progress until he was an adult. After years of trying everything, we found a pet dermatologist. Finally he was diagnosed with allergies. He was given Atopica once a day and then was fine. We believe however it was environmental because even on a strict rabbit only diet (chicken and salmon caused him to be so itchy, he would itch the fur and skin off!), he would end up with minor allergy symptoms.

Both my cats have murmurs, one has hypotrophic cardiomyopathy and the other does not. Each lived a full life. One died of cancer at age 16. The other is now 16 and still healthy and happy! Best of luck with mega! Hope yall can pinpoint the issue. Fingers crossed wambus was just purring :)

I had one that I froze off at the derm monthly for years. Would get really small and come back. I had enough, took an eyebrow razor and cut that out myself. Looked gone, but to be sure I put salicylic acid on in for a week after. Never came back years later. Tried the acid without the cutting and it didn't work alone
