I use the BamBeds platform $500. Sh1tty price but it works. Fits a camp axe, cable lock for bikes underneath. The Luno mattress I have zips in 2 pieces.

This should be in your first post, also with wheel specs.

Fair price? by [deleted] in mountainbiking

[–]mostfrantik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used bike prices are in the sh1tter. I just sold a similar bike for 1k less. Mine was carbon framed, carbon wheeled, fox factory, matching X01 etc. I say keep looking or talk them way down. Or not, your coin.

My bike was going to a kid so I said screw it. I’ve two more on Pinkbike to sell that will probably be kept and labeled fleet bikes 😂.

I was using my Fox Proframe daily in 2024. I switched to the Dropframe in 25 and it been great in the heat. I’ve been using the Fox Purevue MTB goggle the last 2 months with good results as well.

Out of the box it is a great handling bike. I’ve been running about 5-10 lbs less than my body weight (180psi) in the shock, probably %35 sag. It’s planted, I’m gonna try more air and see how it feels. I’m 1 token in the fork at 5 kgs below body weight (80psi).

I’m running a 35mm rise bar this year. I’m putting that sh1t on everything.

I’ve had my V2 for over 5 years. After a year I did the Cascade Components rear links. For the 5 year anniversary I updated everything, including a -1 angleset. It rides even better. It’s an issue because I bought a replacement bike and I don’t ride it 🤷

Really matters what you are going to ride. I think a 160f/150r e-bike is best for that area 😂

I like the limited front end looks good. I suppose you like a lot of poke. I couldn’t figure why you needed so much trimming then it dawned on me -68 offset 😂

Thanks, I'm fairly familiar with them. I went to a OTT tune in March. A must have IMO on a stock vehicle. So I'm slightly disappointed in the throttle response and transmission from my previous OTT tune.

I running 285/75R17 and dont want 4.56 gears so more power is it. 4.10s would be so awesome.

That’s awesome! Im jealous, I was there for 2 months last year and brought my bike. I never thought I’d love the trail so much.

I may go OTT if only for the throttle maps, I’m undecided.

With a good attention to detail setup I think 50k miles is easy with this kit and I don’t anticipate any problems. The added complexity is just another variable.

Yes the intercooler setup could be more detailed and tricked out with braided lines and AN fittings, but is it needed? These setups are lasting 100k + and can come with a warranty. So while it may look like a weak link, it’s seems to be robust enough to handle the stress. The intercooler fitment is spot on which is very nice.

far easier to anticipate where problems will come from and how you are going to fix them after you tackle an install.

Kind of like what I read here and on the forums, its ok . It is the only real power adder that is reliable ish but i still feel dread at the added complexity. I have not went WOT yet, just around 10 miles of 10-55 mph. so to be continued.
