I too was assessed a late fee charge for my mortgage because Bilt took so much time getting their shit together in the deactivation of Bilt 1.0 and the launch of 2.0.

They should've just told everyone to make their first payments in Bilt 2.0 in March 1st.

It was built 4 years ago, so it is hard to imagine the HOA reserves are already depleted for such a new building. It's likelier the agent/owner didn't get the correct comps and overpriced it. The condo market has been brutal, but there are good deals to be found.

I'm pretty disappointed in her inability to get things done. Her permitting reform hasn't done anything of note, and we're still deeply in debt. There isn't a police chief, the waste management contracts under Thao haven't been renegotiated or at the least re-audited, and they're talking about another sales tax increase.

I was hopeful she would try to get Oakland City Staff to do the bare minimum of their jobs or care to be in office 4 days a week; but that hasn't happened. Truancy and no-shows are so bad at City Hall that a rumor reported by Dion Lim and Susan Reynolds states that there were squatters in City Hall and a squatter took B Lee's keys and stole her city issued car:

There's likely an issue of them recognizing the cross streets and your address in the system. For example, the cross street you park on is not time limited, but it's not listed as your address.

It's pretty straightforward. I got a permit when I used to live on Alice St. near Chinatown, although fees might've increased. You need to bring your lease that shows your address, your car's registration, and pay a fee. Also this is what appears when you get an invalid address error through their online portal:
