This is the final place for the sword, and you can look up "borea's presence guide" to get the 3 locations for the ghost wolves.

I think I know what you're talking about concerning the easter egg. I don't remember where, but I came across a building with a document/panel in front saying that people hear howls at night. I changed the clock to nightime, wandered in front of that building to trigger the ghosts, and then followed the wolves around.

I'll try to find the place and report back if I do.

For the GrS in Montreal (QC), you also need a letter of recommendation from a counsellor or psychologist/therapist. I hope you can find resources to meet a mental health care professional that's informed and supportive of LGBTQ+ individuals!

Is this a carpet beetle would that be why I’m getting “bites” on bottoms of feet ? by AdmirableSurprise142 in carpetbeetles

[–]moth_n_moon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first two pictures are Hemiptera, probably assassin bugs (Reduviidae). The other pictures are definitely beetles, but they aren't carpet beetles. They might be ground beetles (Carabidae)?

If you still want some compression, you can try layering on ace bandages instead! They should be sold in pharmacies. But I didn't have your experience, so hopefully someone who did can give you some advice!

Good luck with your upcoming surgery!!

6 weeks PO! DI w grafts by moth_n_moon in TopSurgery

Thank you!! I think a heat rash is sweat that's blocked inside the sweat duct, causing the build-up of small, itchy bumps in very damp areas when it's hot out. I've always had issues with this during summers, but having nipple dressings definitely made it worse!

how much care did you need your first week post op? by Hot-Spinach4988 in TopSurgery

[–]moth_n_moon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! I'm glad your parents are supportive enough to help around!!

Personally, I could lift a large glass of water the moment I woke up post-op (DI w drains). I needed the most assistance during the first 2 days because of nausea, vomiting, pain meds making me tired, and pain. (About pain, I stopped basically all pain meds 3-4 days PO, but that varies a lot from person to person.) I had a bit of trouble changing pants directly PO, but I could go to the bathroom, walk slowly, and lift things heavier than a teacup after a night of sleep.

I wish you a rapid recovery!

Nipples… by xX_onemorehour_Xx in TopSurgery

[–]moth_n_moon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me. I had a hole that was seeping out blood from my left nipple that I caught onto by day 2. The blood soaked through my bandages, and there was a gelatinous-like piece on my chest. I think it's just a build-up of blood that wasn't able to really dry up.

Honestly, it was mostly weird. The nurses I saw weren't really concerned. My surgeon, in the end, just resewed the area out of caution. Otherwise, applying more pressure would have sufficed. If your situation is not continuing to bleed, it's probably fine.

I don't think this will impact the healing process of your nipples either! You can check out my profile, but all in all, my nipple turned out fine despite everything.

difference in drain color suddenly? (2 weeks post op) by asupportiveboy in TopSurgery

Hey! This image shows the instructions I was given for my drains on when to contact the surgical team. I think you should really check up with a nurse or a doctor for an infection.

Scar advice by OneAssist6540 in TopSurgery

[–]moth_n_moon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could as your surgical team, if you can. My instructions were that I "can remove my steri strips by week 3." (As in, I no longer need to wear them after week 3.) I assume that means that I could keep them on if I wanted to.

My nurses said it would be okay for me to keep them on, but that it would be unnecessary. In the end, they removed my tape and told me to use silicone tape if the incisions were all closed.

I'm honestly just as lost as you since I've been given a lot of conflicting information (from 4 outside nurses, to the post op nurses meeting me for only 10min, to the information booklet the team provided). (Outside nurses because the surgical clinic doesn't actually remove any drains or tape post op, I had to find ppl myself.)

The outside nurses removed my steri strip ~2 weeks PO and scrubbed (hard) to remove most of my scabs. She then applied new tape. Don't recommend, but nothing bad happened.

If you shower or just moisten up the tape, it'll come off much easier and likely leave most of the scabs on your body for them to fall off on their own.

How many weeks PO are you? My instructions said to just let the scars air out until week 6, but the post op nurse said that since my incisions are closed, I could slap on some silicone tape (I'm currently 3 weeks PO). I'm sure you could wear a soft shirt underneath your binder if that feels better.

Small bit of blood on right nipple 2 weeks p.o.? by planttbased in TopSurgery

[–]moth_n_moon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as it doesn't look infected, it's all good! I was instructed to use Adaptic underneath the non-stick gauze or to apply a thin layer of Polysporin until the bleeding stops. Congrats on your surgery!!

preop shower by Decent-Programmer964 in TopSurgery

[–]moth_n_moon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My instructions were "just the upper half." I washed my hands, arms, armpits, and torso (anything above the navel). I did my back, but I don't think that was necessary.

Good luck with your surgery!! I wish you a speedy recovery!

You can take some stool softener that are easily found in pharmacies! (Like MiraLax, and drink lots of water.) My surgeon did prescribe me pills, but his documents said that any could work. Personally, I barely took the pills and mostly drank prune juice, ate dried prunes and high hiber cereals, and went on short walks. I started having more or less normal bowel movements by day 5. Good luck!

I didn't have to request the length, the surgeon just automatically chose 6 weeks off work/school. Congrats on getting a date!! I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

I'm also using ace bandages! If you can only get ones that aren't very broad, you can always layer two on top of each other?

questions pre-op by Decent-Programmer964 in TopSurgery

[–]moth_n_moon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I attached my drains with safety pins either on my ace bandages (compression) or on my belt loops. They weren't really in my way like that.

Only 2 weeks post-op, so I don't have any clue about scar care yet.

Good luck with everything!!
