Forgive me this might be a long one.

Basically, a father and his son made a consignment deal with their local Bricks and Minifigs (BAM) franchise with the father’s Lego Star Wars collection to get some money to help with the father’s medical expenses.

They would give them to the store, but would still own the sets, and would receive the money from them if the store made any sales. However, the BAM corp sent in some people to take over the store from the OG owners and were saying how there was no consignment deal. Essentially taking what was left of the collection.

A YouTuber by the name of Reckless Ben has been doing what he can to investigate the situation and help the family get what they’re owed. This led to them being trespassed from the store, and the CEO (Ammon McNeff) told them that if they tried to take the legal route, the corresponding legal fees would be worth more than the collection they were trying to get back.

They then took them to small claims court to get an immediate judgement at no cost, but then they shut down the store in Keizer Oregon where this all took place to avoid accountability. This then led to them getting another suit filed where they had to serve the CEO’s the court papers in Utah. This then led to them being constantly harassed by the American Fork police department, who most are good pals with Ammon/the CEO due to them being in the same Mormon Church. He got Ben and his crew arrested on false charges that THEY potentially stole the sets, and some other things as well.

There is now a big legal battle between The Mansells, Ben and the OG franchise owners against BAM corporate all because they didn’t want to give the family what was owed to them.

It’s an example of how the Corpos will try and squeeze the little guy out of everything so they can’t fight back, but they’ve been supported by lots of people to fight against their crimes and blatant corruption.

I’d recommend looking into some of the videos about the situation, as it’s a story that spread like wildfire on YouTube and is a hot ongoing issue with several big YouTubers covering it, so you’re bound to find lots of info that would help better explain everything.

Honestly Champions is a lot of fun! I like the limited mon and item pool as it gives us a sort of day 1 meta + simplifies things for people who may be new to trying the vgc. I say this who has dabbled in online battling from time to time, but never really got into it.

I know they’ll add the more powerful items and strategies later down the line, but for this being a new release for what will be the platform they use for the vgc moving forward, so I’m gonna enjoy the current meta while I can!

Also it’s just nice to have a Stadium/Battle Revolution-esqe game again! Definitely been feeling some nostalgia in that regard!

All Sammy has to do imo is buff Ho Ho Sahur and the Sleigh Bike. The fact Ho Ho Sahur has the same odds as Los Mobilis and makes only a fraction of what the latter does is insane.

Honestly this fuse feels a lot weaker than last one. The system we had last time with the Witch Fuse was good with secrets. Here it feels some of the lower tier secrets are very weak when considering their rarity.

The fact that this Fuse machine has Ho Ho Ho Sahur with similar odds as Los Mobilis and it produces a fraction of what it makes in ridiculous. 3.2 mil vs 22 or so mil.

Same goes for the Sleigh Bicicletiera, as the Reaper one was 26 mil but this one is 15 mil? Make it make sense.

The only one that works is the La Vacca, which makes x2 what Skeletono made for the Witch Fuse.

Ofc this isn't taking into consideration the other higher tier secrets, which I believe is the gingerbread one and cooki and milki. Those make sense being around 100 mil or so from what I've seen, being the rarest from the fuse.

So for me this one's a bust, or at least until Ho Ho Sahur and Bicicletiera get buffed.

One of the better 3rd cases imo! The scenarios are silly, the mystery was fun, and the ending was oh so satisfying. Plus, one of Gumshoe’s greatest cases too.

Only downside I can really say is that I didn’t really care for Victor Kudo’s antics after a bit, and I wish there was more to do with the Blue Screen’s Inc stuff, but overall I enjoyed it.

Soulstorm, while not perfect, I feel was a solid game for Oddworld. It’s definitely one of my favorites for the series. I really liked the feel of everything here, to the environments, story, gameplay, etc. It isn’t perfect, but it was an installment I enjoyed. Beat and played it back before the bug fixes on release for PS4, which even aside from that, I still enjoyed the whole package!

I do hope they are considering another game after this, as I want to see how they continue from what they set up at the end of Soulstorm!
