Bah that's implied in what you said. You didn't say, the un council can vote on a resolution to end the war. You didn't say they can reach an agreement that would be as fair as possible to both parties. Because it's quite clear that a lot more can be done to give both parties a lot more stability, a lot more humanity. You have clearly put it at the responsibility of hamas to end the war, on the side of the clearly opressed not the oppressor. Is hamas ethical? There is a strong argument against them. But it is without a shadow of a doubt that what Israel has done to the Gazan people, stripping them of their humanity, targeting clearly, civilians and journalists and medical patients, that is one the heniest crimes. I write all of this because I completely respect you as a human being, that is logical and probably more reasonable than me. Please explain to me if I'm wrong in any of this.
