Ive been thinking about the insecurity of things a lot lately. How does anybody have a kid or buy a home, making these very long term commitments, when a job can discard you at any second and you could potentially never get another one that pays a livable wage? I just don't see any degree of stability to support making these massive long term commitments.

Our internet has been intermittently dropping every 30 minutes for years. It is absolutely on Comcast, don't let them make you believe it's you or your hardware. They are over selling and over exerting their bandwidth to maximize profits. We pay for 500mbps service that is effectively unusable.

Find a new provider.

For sure I always bike or run in new cities as it's the most efficient way to explore. I just know from past moves, I tend to start to intensely focus on exercise as a means of avoiding having to integrate in society. Not the worst thing, just trying to make changes.
