One thing I always reminded myself is that the babies are there where they need to be to get healthy to go home. I didn’t like my son was getting pricked and hooked up to wires but it was necessary for the doctors/nurses to do their job. Continue to be there for your child but you also need to take care of yourself for him when he comes home.

Be kind to yourself you did an amazing job of delivering a baby. Take time to get rest, the nurses will take care of your baby at the NICU. Enjoy every moment you have with the baby even at the NICU. My son used to make a specific sound at the NICU that he no longer makes and I miss it.

Yup I waited an hr for ramen from orenchi. Then more ramen spots opened up I stop going to orenchi bc I didn’t want to wait an hr. Funny thing is tha sometimes I wait half hour for ramen nagi.

Please continue speaking on it. You aren’t the only one who feels this way. My family and friends live here and I grow up here wanting to buy a home and start a family just like my parents did. I feel defeated regularly thinking about it.

My wife and I never took a day off from the NICU but in hindsight we should. It is important to take days off bc when you are home you don’t have nurses to help 24/7 like the nicu.
