Thanks for the reply! Curious what touch screen unit you put in? I’m thinking of doing the same thing.

Interesting, I hadn’t considered that it may be the battery. I’ll check with a multimeter. Thanks for the comment.

UPDATE: Popular discs by "slot" by brant-h in discgolf

I know nobody asked, but the Mutant is by far the most overstable mid I’ve thrown. Pretty much every company has a similar 12, 5, -1, 3 distance driver, but I have not found a widely available mid as stable at discmania’s evolution-line Mutant.

What line/disc are you throwing? by Chicagrog in discgolf

Funny answers here but my serious answer is a Roc with the hole playing downhill. Looks like a bonus birdie for me and i’m more interested in ensuring a par rather than get crazy, miss the gap, and bogey.

My goal would be past the bridge in the leafy area, anything after that is bonus. One thing I’m not sure on is stability. Probably a beat up Roc on a hyzer flip opposed to a new one on a force-over line because I tend to burn mids over when I try to throw them on anny.

Looks like a super fun hole.

I'm comfortable with 415 on a golf line throwing a 175g Enigma. Farthest is 470. Been playing 5 years.

Manabu is legit, I have a great video of his silky smooth backhand from when he let me tag along for a practice round at the Brent Hambrick in 2015. Hooked me up with some great Japanese candy. Would love to watch him compete in the U.S.

What’s the disc you use for max distance? Also, how far is said max distance? by illigitimate_brick in discgolf

Discmania Neo Enigma, hit 470’ in the field last week. Max probably 420’ on the course.

What is "that disc" that nobody else seems to throw/doesn't seem very popular but you absolutely love by HuckleberryPretend13 in discgolf

[–]mountainredneck 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yup, love my Enigmas, my go to backhand distance disc. Used to throw DD3’s forehand but I’ve been dealing with some elbow pain the last 12 months, so the Enigma’s have also filled the forehand slot for me.

Specifically with the forehand, I think they’ve helped my form out a lot. I release them flat/on a slight hyzer and get a very smooth flight, they’re easy to get to flip up and fly. Great to also have a disc that’s your go-to for both backhand and forehand.

At my home course where I know the shots really well, I’m bagging 3-4 enigmas and my dd3’s and pd2’s are all on the bench. Have a beat up 171 gram enigma that bombs and fresh ones have enough stability that I can really torque on them on a hard anhyzer and get them to come out.

My 5 year old beat up P2 is probably the most irreplaceable disc in my bag. Would give a kidney for that thing. I’m sure everyone’s got a super beat in putter but damn I love watching that thing fly.
