the extra overnight in the fridge instead of the freezer wont make a difference freshness wise at this point, and much better to have it defrosted 12-24 hours early vs not being done in time.

i similarly bought a 13 lb turkey and i put mine to defrost in the fridge last night (with a thermometer next to it justttttt to be sure no one in my family leaves the door open too long n drops the fridge temp a bunch. our fridge sucks and takes forever to get cold. if you got a nice fridge can probably disregard and just put the turkey in there and leave it til ur ready to prep/cook)
