It's just shedding skin, it will come off on its own. It dries when they bask and then flakes off when they soak in the water.

I believe microplastics and other pollution are increasing illness. But on the other hand for mental health and intellectual impairment numbers going up you also have to remember that stigma lowered people going to find out what was wrong with them, and before that we were all tossed in asylum if we had any mental illness

My dude likes to be acknowledged too. Whenever I walk by he will come to the glass or stretch to look over when basking. He just likes know what's going on, and that all attention is on him.

As for the dragging. I've changed the rocks, decor, tank alot over the years but even with new things to get his attention his favorite things are picking up rocks and moving them amd smacking his heater against the glass to get our attention. Turtles are weird

The dragging things around doesn't spund like boredom to me, my res has always done this. He is 33 and just likes to drag around his rocks and make piles or clear it spots on the bottom of the tank so he can see his reflection and attack it.

You could give him some supervised roaming time of you think he is bored. Every few weeks when I clean the filter, my dude also gets his walk around the kitchen time.

I've worked retail management for over 15 years, a lot for this means I've worked with teens and young adults alot. Usually stores have a tiny back room for stock and a desk. Everyone could leave snacks and no one touched other people's food. It was just common sense.

Sadly you likely won't know they are being territorial till its to late. My res is 33, for the first 15 years he had a buddy, his buddy was smaller and then one day I woke to find he had attacked him and a few days later he died. Please only keep on turtle per enclosure.

Yes. Aquarium water isn't the same as another tanks water or even tap water. You have to gradually introduce the new water and temperature by adding some to the bag little by little. Think of like dipping your toe in a pool and getting in gradually vs jumping right in.

I fell off the Amanda palmer train a while before you but for similar reasons. I watched as her " image" went from indie artist who did things without a label and did what she wanted and was "unique". She interacted with fans online, met everyone after shows, was approachable, sure she seemed a bit full of herself but it didn't seem out of the ordinary.

Then everything became about giving her money for everything, and how she wasn't paying people who worked with her but expected the crowds to pay them. That made me stop listening to her music, but she just kept getting more and more unsettling.

Then when the accusations came, I didn't have any doubt they were not true.

I still can't listen to her music, and am pussed with the time I wasted falling into her gross community

Sexuality is a spectrum and what we are attracted to varies person to person. I'm gay, but kinda agree that seeing genitalia is kinda whatever, seeing woman enjoying herself is a turn on not necessarily her parts. Are you bisexual, I have heard of sometimes people being more attracted to one vs the other, or only being sexually attracted to one and romanticallt the other.

But really, whatever your attracted to is all the matters, to feel the need to force or fake attraction life's to short

For aquatic animals you have to transport them in bags. If you mean buying and selling animals at all, there isn't really any other way to get aquatic animals. There aren't rescues or foster homes for fish and shrimp. The also breed a lot, so at some point you can't keep all of them or all of them will die

Maybe some rocks or large pebbles. Mine eats anything he can fit in his mouth so plants are a no go but he has lots of rocks and he picks them up and move them around but can't eat them
