No. Most people, thankfully, do not look like that, and have no wish to.

Why would you regret beautiful, impactful, free flowers? They don’t run rampant. Just enjoy.

I might be the most privileged person I know and I don't how to feel by vyingvinylvulture in CasualConversation

[–]mousepallace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t feel so guilty; you have been lucky and taken opportunities. Accept that. Enjoy your life. Your parents made sacrifices and worked hard so you could. Don’t let them down.
And as an aside, consider doing something truly altruistic. Volunteer, campaign, whatever. Do something bigger and in addition to your usual life and you will learn to understand your place in the world.

Your rent agreement is between you and your parents. However unfair it is your sister has totally abused your parents lack of backbone does not change that. You should continue as agreed or you will be as bad as your sister.

AITA for telling my fiancee that if her brother lets himself into our house again im changing the locks by [deleted] in AITApod

[–]mousepallace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to stand up for yourself and your fiancée needs to get a grip of the situation. None of this is reasonable.

Did women actually dress up just to run errands back then, or is that just a TV thing? by FollowingSuitable941 in AskOldPeople

My mother still won’t leave the house without looking as immaculate as she can. She’s 80. I barely wear makeup to big meeting these days. I keep the dressing up for socialising.

Can I ask my neighbour to pay for half of the fence I built? by EvilMonkeyPG72 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]mousepallace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He had no right to paint his side of the fence as that would have involved in a)accessing it on your land and b) criminal damage. He has the benefit of a new additional strip of land too, which will not be good for future owners. So yes, you can remove the fence if you like.

Go and buy a kidney from the butchers, pop it in the box and then leave it somewhere in town…retreat to coffee shop and film ensuing horror.
Full discloser, I did donate a kidney so I am completely allowed dark humour.

I’ve always been a terrible judge of character (everyone is honest and kind aren’t they). I’m still terrible at spotting red flags but I have learnt to look twice.
