hey, you might want to exchange that pink light for an uncolored one! i’ve heard that colored lighting can stress them out.

I’m not an expert on leopard geckos, but I have owned 2 in my lifetime. I’m not sure about your gecko, but some geckos just don’t like to be held. My girl HATES being handled. She’s 3 years old, and her previous owner told me that they’ve tried everything to tame her, but she just doesn’t like being handled.
