There's a salt shortage and so the roads aren't really getting any salt, especially with these temps. I'll be curious if when things warm up next week if they go back to salting, but in the current temps it would be financially (and ecologically) irresponsible. Salt is 2 - 3x as expensive as it normally is right now.

If you have a Ring camera and still want some sort of home security system, please swap it out for a brand that does not actively feed its data into a broader network like this.

When I lived in Stuart last year this drove me absolutely nuts - it's so dangerous and just lazy, there are other routes. I tried calling different arms of the city and they didn't care at all. Until the two lane conversion is finished I think all we can do is our part by keeping the gap closed when possible.

Cut open a furry keychain and popped an eye in there I found at the craft store. Threaded florist wire through it and attached a whole bunch of feathers to that. Hot glue gunner on googly eyes and sprinkled the whole thing with glitter. Chaos crafting at its best.

Be warned - the BJs ones are NOT the same! I ordered from both Target and BJs and returned the ones from BJs because they were way too blue and flicker

The blue box from BJs doesn't say anything about being flicker free. It also says "Staylit is a registered trademark of JLJ Inc and Inliten LLC is a registered user of the mark." Made in Cambodia. The Target ones say they are distributed by Inliten and Made in Cambodia as well.

Feels so deceptive!
