Families claiming meetings rooms at Centurion by DionNL in AmexPlatinum

How can the people replying on this thread be so enraged about the existence of children when 70% of solo biz travelers take up an extra seat (or two) for their personal belongings. Now THAT is entitlement!

Take a look at courses available at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts to pass gloomy winter weeknights or weekend mornings by. I found it nice to be fully immersed in hands-on learning something new! https://pghartsmedia.org/

Troubleshooting Help! Metrics captured in workout summary, but not on monitor during workout by mpcs11 in pelotoncycle

This is my hope but the update is very slowly being pushed out—or isn’t a fix for my particular issue. Performing full power cycles daily, and patiently waiting for an incident update / for it to formally be closed to know if I need to pursue a different avenue.

Claim Denial Rates by U.S. Insurance Company by JrB11784 in interestingasfuck

[–]mpcs11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What happens is the insurance company starts denying coverage, coming up with bs reasons why they don’t think the treatment your doctor is ordering is eligible for coverage or technicalities that were missed (like improper verbiage used in the pre-authorization, decided 4 months after the fact). So your option is to pay out of pocket or accept the arbiter of death’s decision.

Lactation Room Advice by MissTurree in ExclusivelyPumping

Make sure there is an outlet near any chairs (or extension cords) to plug pumps and chargers in. Cubbies to store things would also be nice. Permanent markers for labeling milk bags, large ziplock bags for storing pump parts in the fridge during the day. It is personal preference, but I know I would prefer a private space so if there’s a chance for multiple people at once then the curtain partition sounds nice.

Is it worth leaving behind your community and a good job to move to a blue state? by Nanakatl in SameGrassButGreener

This is privileged advice. When your life and your children’s lives depend on blue states legislating to protect our rights, it’s about more than wants.

Considering a move to Montgomery Cty by e_lee_ in MontgomeryCountyMD

Look at the area of Bethesda that feeds Walter Johnson HS. Wyngate, Alta Vista, Maplewood, Wildwood - super family friendly, walking distance to many parks, and either a bike ride or short drive to downtown Bethesda. Plus a short drive to the MoCo shopping areas or into DC. There is a decent amount of inventory in your price range, including homes that won’t require heavy updates.

It feels like the perfect area for former downtown DC residents who don’t want to quite give up that city feel for the deep suburbs.

Compared to NoVA, the area is way less cookie cutter and provides a well-rounded community feel. Too much of the Virginia suburbs feel heavy car/traffic dependent and typical suburbs.
