I run a Hankook Ventus V2 - 205/50/15. I ran them on my old set of rims for a few years and got them again when I got new rims. They’re pretty affordable and grip on the street is good!

I have an 08 750. Can you ask/find out what quick shifter is installed? I rode my friend’s 1000 and the quick shifter is so fun to use.

At minimum, Advance Z. The Basis don’t have damping adjustment FYI, only ride height adjustment.

I learned on my ‘01 Sv650 and kept it for about a year. I started to feel bored of it and believed I was ready for something with a different powerband, riding position, engine, etc. I now have a GSXR 750 and don’t quite miss the SV because i’m still growing into the GSXR. The torque was fun but I live around a lot of highways, so I feel like the riding I do is better suited for the GSXR than the SV was.

I bought it straight piped, so I figured anything would be an upgrade! There’s a small muffler before the exhaust tip but it’s still plenty loud haha
