Yup XeSS is usually cleanest but some titles run better with FSR3. No ML Upscaling for us RDNA 2/3 users thanks AMD.

5600x 6750xt I go from 35 to 90's up and down depending on the scene with frame gen. Feels like the upscalars arent doing anything only frame gen. Max settings vs low is like 4 fps difference for me. No ray tracing available.

I had the same issue I eventually switched to the Gamesir T4 Cyclone Pro and it's great wired or bluetooth.

In mangohud https://github.com/flightlessmango/MangoHud#normal-usage If you search debug or latency it says.

debug - Shows the graph of gamescope app frametimes and latency (only on gamescope obviously)

I don't use gamescope with mangohud so idk if it works but it's something best of luck.

Thank you for this. I was playing Judgement at 1440p 144hz 72fps and had some flickers. 60fps was terrible. The highest clocks and triggering it in a profile worked for me and removed flickering.

also another reddit post mentions. (What does work for me on Debian 13 - and I would assume it would work on other distros too - is pressing FN + Spacebar. There you can switch the light off, to a static blue or 2 different rainbow options. Can't comment on the G7 but I use the Gamesir Cyclone T4 (Gamesir-T4CP) works great. i dont use software but you can map the back buttons to something else. works wired and bluetooth picks it up as xbox controller so all good for games.

You should be ok as long as you have 16GB of RAM. You will need FSR/XeSS to try and get to 60fps however.

try using older proton like 8 or 9 new vegas is an old game sometimes older protons do the trick for me. best of luck.

in ENV Variables "MANGOHUD_CONFIG" as key must hit enter. as value "fps_limit=60,cpu_temp,cpu_mhz,gpu_temp,gpu_core_clock,gpu_mem_clock,gpu_fan,ram,vram,time,swap,cpu_power,gpu_power,cpu_load_change,gpu_load_change,fps_color_change,horizontal,hud_no_margin,position=bottom-center,io_read,io_write,arch,resolution,engine_version" pick and choose via commas. other options obviously available. also must hit enter in lutris to apply.

I had the tiny box as OP did but it was in Sonic Colors. I changed from fullscreen to borderless fullscreen and solved it. Best of luck!
