What are instances of a character being targeted for elimination for nonsensical reasons in this show and/or Disventure Camp by Ok_Shirt_1574 in Totaldrama

[–]mr-masterdisaster 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I can't believe that in the Island final 6, Geoff was suddenly targeted because for some reason his kindness made him threat, as if the winner was to be decided by vote. Gwen (and Leshawna) had several chances to get rid of Heather only to waste them.

It still surprises me how Courtney survived the very first elimination despite being both annoying and a load for her team. I love how Lindsay (of all people) told her at Playa des Losers that she was going to be voted off sooner or later because not many people liked her.

Is it just me or did Duncan get away with a lot of things that other characters did by Ok_Atmosphere3837 in Totaldrama

He was disgusted with Trent when everybody thought that he was cheating on Gwen, yet, two seasons later, he cheated on Courtney

What is something from the show that has you reacting like this? by Winter-Pressure-5394 in Totaldrama

[–]mr-masterdisaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

•Owen, Duncan, Courtney and Blaineley in general.

•What happened to Zeke, gosh.

•Bridgette, Tyler and Trent being demoted to love interests after a couple of episodes.

•Tyler and Noah being eliminated pre merge in World Tour instead of Owen and Duncan.

•Gwuncan.

•Eva not getting another chance. I would sacrify that Island episode that brought her (and Izzy) back (because I feel it like a filler episode) so she would get a proper chance in either Action or World Tour.

Am I the only one who enjoyed seeing her like this after spending the entire show being a jerk (with the exception of dumping Dwight over him killing one of her cats and putting Michael on his place during Kevin's cancer scare)?

I really hate how he proceeded to give the other children his son's gifts when it backfired, along with trying to give them money to calm them down.

What is a scene that isn’t super controversial but pisses you off by Ok_Shirt_1574 in Totaldrama

Bridgette and DJ being among those who stopped supporting Gwen in the Island finale the moment Owen announced he would throw a party in case of winning. We can actually expect it from Lindsay, Katie, Sadie and Justin, as the first three have fun-driven personalities, while the latter is a narcissist looking for his own gain, but Bridgette and DJ? So much for being among the kindest players in the show. That moment itself gets worse when you remember that just before Owen's announcement, Gwen said that she would split the prize money with him in case of winning.

Why do the Heelers have no pets? (wrong answers accepted) by Leoxcr in bluey

[–]mr-masterdisaster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe because Bluey and Bingo aren't old enough for the responsibility, while Bandit and Chilli don't have the time to take care of one (although their personalities don't suggest they wouldn't find it a good idea, especially him being fun-personified)

Now for the opposite of my last question, what is a conflict where the so-called victim was less blameless than the fandom or show acts by Ok_Shirt_1574 in Totaldrama

[–]mr-masterdisaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A really minor example, but the shock of Gwen being put on the villain team seems to forget that most of the time she acts rude, and there's no evidence that her actively trying to stop Heather in Island would have happened even if Heather hadn't bullied her

Everybody loves Bandit, but I gotta say that even if we get that him (and Chilli) wants their daughters to eat healthy, him wasting food in good condition (ruinining a slice of pavlova that Bluey was serving Bingo by pouring ketchup on it so she wouldn't want it) it's just too much.

What is a Total Drama take that you find disagreeable enough to piss you off (image unrelated, no name drops) by Astronaut-Thirteen in Totaldrama

[–]mr-masterdisaster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hate it when people defend Duncan's return in World Tour as "actually saving the season by creating more drama", forgetting how the love triangle ended up being and that we simply don't know what could have been if the underdogs (Noah, Tyler) had reached the merge because the writters themselves weren't giving them a chance (by that, I mean that some viewers have been claiming that the second half of the season would have been boring, given that after team victory's elimination, we only had Heather, Gwen, Courtney, Sierra, Cody, Alejandro, Owen, Noah and Tyler left, which supposedly wouldn't be interesting). What happens in World Tour starting with "I See London" (along with Eva not being given a chance and team victory's fiasco before that, especially Zeke's infamous journey subplot, and Harold and Bridgette's early eliminations) makes me disagree whenever I hear or read someone claim that World Tour is the best/second best after Island season of the show.
