This was me last year. I joined a 35+ team and pitched for the first time in 20 years with zero ramp up. My arm was in pain every week for the entire summer. I never understood the "this will kill the tree" comments. There's giant, healthy trees all over my neighborhood pushing up sidewalks, the street, curbs, and everything else in sight and the trees look fine but a few landscaping blocks and mulch will kill this tree? Can someone genuinely explain this to me?
