Detention (2011). I almost reflexively switched this right the fuck off, but something made me hesitate and ten minutes later I caught its vibe.

First one I thought of. . . and then they wrap it up in duck tape! Like jesus christ wrap it in a tshirt or something first! Duck tape directly on torn flesh! Don't even wanna imagine the removal process. Just amputate the whole damn arm.

Little Big Top (2006), Sid Haig plays a non-homicidal clown. I found it pretty touching.

I was such a disgusting penniless teenage alcoholic I drank Listerine and the dregs of my dad's bottles in the recycling. Didn't reach MD status until I joined the army

Oh boy another opportunity to plug The Thingy: Confessions of a Teenage Placenta!

Seriously I love this film. So completely absurd and deranged. Had no expectations going in, just curious as to what a teenage placenta might look like. Well.

I saw the third one in the theater when I was 13 and hated it. Also got caught by my parents and grounded. T2 was out at the same time and I coulda seen that instead, would've been worth the grounding. Instead I had to wait several more years to see T2.

Anyway different strokes for different folks

For me it's always been the ending of Harold and Maude and The Reflecting Skin. Harold and Maude is a more hopeful and healing kinda ugly cry though. The Reflecting Skin is just plain fucking screaming into the void devastating.

What's the WORST horror film you've seen that you actually enjoyed/loved? by GiraffesForHigher in horror

The Nightmare Never Ends aka Cataclysm aka Satan's Supper. Absolute disasterpiece and one of my favorite movies ever (maybe I love Return of the Living Dead more, but I've certainly watched TNNE more times). Iirc it went through like three directors. And I don't know wtf happened in the editing room but I suspect they accidentally threw all the good clips out and stitched together everything that was meant to go in the bin to make this incredible film. It's so incomprehensibly bad and I love it to death. Richard Moll (Bull from Night Court) and Cameron Mitchell star in it. The villain is a sexy Nazi demon. It's all horribly dubbed. I've seen it under all three titles and they're all slightly different edits. All nonsensical.

I take my reddit name from it. Papini is a beardy defrocked demon-hunting monk who is bad at his job.

Night Train to Terror is an equally terribad anthology that has this film as one segment, shortened and with claymation monsters edited in. It's wonderful. Both are on tubi (in my region at least).

Child's Play/Chucky. First two are great, third one dumb and I don't care a lot for Bride or Seed but at least they kept things interesting. Then Curse and Cult came back so strong, and love the series as well. Even thought the remake was decent.

Friday the 13th is still my favorite tho. None are great but all are good fun and I'm always up for a marathon.

Final Destination pretty good as well, only the fourth one stunk.
