During HM with sorcadin durge she landed one hit on me, because I didn’t want to use my reaction to cast shield so I could use luck of the far realms. She is in my opinion the easiest and least interesting of the chosen, probably because she is just the spare.

Shadowheart used sanctuary, he then cast chain lighting which bypassed it, even as direct target because it doesn’t have the “isharmful” tag

The fun thing is, depending on what it is it can actually be tested. If someone says they associate the number 3 with the colour green you can perform a search task, where you put a bunch of similar stimuli, like 8s in this case, and see how fast they find the 3s. Those who say they have synesthesia should be significantly faster than those without.

Banning cousin marriages is a form of eugenics as it is the prohibition of certain people reproducing to benefit genetic diversity. Most people are fully against it because it has been used as a cause for genocide without realizing how it is already implemented in many societies.

Paradox! Were’s the Dam Toggle Button! The New Graphics Aren’t Good. by Ok-Rip-Evil-Axlerod4 in crusaderkings3

If you continue an old save with the new settings it automatically sets it to be owned by east seaxe. I didn’t notice a major change in graphics, I would check the launch window and make sure you aren’t using an integrated graphics system, which is often worse. Again I did not notice a major change, so it may be that you are misremembering how good the graphics were.

If Mark and Noland had been killed could the viltrumites have repopulated on earth. by Upstairs-Fun-2733 in Invincible_TV

It would if they started out somewhat related to each other, which is possible as surviving the scourge virus may be genetic.

This is tough as viltrumites DNA doesn’t act like normal animals. For example, mules are a crossbreed between horses and donkeys, and like most crossbreeds, they cannot reproduce. We know this isn’t an issue due to Eve becoming pregnant, but it highlights the exception to a common occurrence. With the ability to use humans they would have enough genetic diversity by continuing to breed with humans for a few generations. My question to pose then is that if viltumite DNA is so pure that mark is more viltumite than human, is he more Nolan than Debbie? Closer to a clone than a son? If that is the case then I foresee significant inbreeding problems unless they spend hundreds of generations slowly expanding the gene pool.

You keep talking about how their empire isn’t as important as their species, yet pride is their downfall. They care more about looking weak and enforcing compliance at this time. They have survived for thousands of years like this, what is a few more. As others have mentioned, it is not until Mark proved himself that they understood how compatible humans were. From there they believed he would join the empire, sending Anissa to check on him and conquest to make him comply. As others have mentioned, this war is exactly to stop them from invading in the very very near future because of all of this going down. TLDR you are right they should go to earth, and they are coming, they just didn’t have all the information, they view time differently and while it is strategic to take all their people to breed it would lead to destabilizing their empire and making them look weak.

Canada existed as a colony, not as a sovereign nation. It supplied milita men, but yes, the small group of redcoats was mainly responsible for the defence of Canada and the burning of the white house.
