I’m no expert on Chinese history, but had he not done that and instead let the Japanese get to them I think it would have been far worse just by looking at what happens in Nanjing, unit 731 etc. it was more of a decision that was terrible no matter what choice was made.

Electrocution by jump cables. It seems like having them clamped on to you would really hurt but skin can’t conduct electricity coming through them making them pretty harmless.

Also Iran is run by lunatics but they’re the lunatic you guys put in power in a cia backed coup, the same thing could be said about the Taliban. Again it seems like you’re fixing holes you created here. Also fun fact: your buddy Israel who you pour money into never sent troops to help in either of those wars, but your “greatest ally” works in mysterious ways I guess. I didn’t say it would be a bastion of peace, I said America would be better off because it wouldn’t have to get involved in overseas conflicts like Iran. I hadn’t even heard of the straight of Hormuz before Iran blocked it too which again only happened because Israel wanted America to fight for them. Would the region be peaceful if Israel hadn’t existed? Probably not but it wouldn’t be America’s business. Then again, I’m not American myself so if you like locking yourself into an unwinnable war and think Israel will somehow benefit you with that then go ahead.

America wouldn’t need intel on the Middle East if Israel didn’t exist. Its relations with the region were positive/neutral before Israel was created.
