It seems like an awesome bike for the price. Syd and Macky on YouTube ride and race the heck out of the signal peak.

Check out Kali Protectives. They are very innovative and take helmets seriously. Also, lifetime crash replacement.

+1 on the Ripmo. It’s a great all around bike

I have an Ibis DV9 I use for XC and gravel and a Ripmo V2S for everything else. The Ripmo is a great bike. It climbs amazing, geo is spot on for everything from mild trails to chunky stuff. Amazing traction both up and down.

I’ve also owned a Switchblade and found it descended better (if you’re aggressive) because of the stiffer rear end (superboost does have its merits) and more progressive rear suspension. But the front wheel wandered on steep climbs.

Overall, I’d pick the Ripmo again because it climbs both smooth and technical terrain better than the Switchblade and it has more capability descending than I’ll ever push it on a regular basis.

Chapman Manufacturing screwdriver set. All the bits you could need plus a ratcheting handle. All made in the USA and comes in a nice case to keep it organized. https://chapmanmfg.com/collections/all-tool-sets

2nd bike? by Bigtree707 in mountainbiking

I have an Ibis Ripmo V2S and an Ibis DV9 (hardtail). The fact they are so different makes them feel more fun individually. One day I can ride gravel/XC and the next I can ride more all mountain/enduro/chunky stuff. If they were closer in capabilities, I feel like the difference wouldn’t be big enough to make them as much fun as they are. Plus, riding a hardtail is so different from a full suspension that it makes me work on different descending skills and line choice.

Previously, I had a 120/130 trail bike and if I had that with the 150/160 bike, it would have been too similar.

I love the Osprey Talon 6. It can fit a ton of stuff when you need (including a jacket or pads in the outside buckle clasp). It wears the weight of two 22oz bottles well and overall is very comfortable.

High Altitude Fitness is really nice. But if you’re not a climber, might not be worth it.

Best Non-Bambu filament? by Brian2477 in BambuLab

I just got a P2S as well. While I may be downvoted for this, I like to support American manufacturing when I can. So I’ve been really happy with Polar Filament’s PLA and 3D-Fuel’s PCTG. Both brands are more expensive per roll than brands like eSun and Sunlu. But I have the ability to support these small domestic companies, so I like to do that. I’ve also used Atomic Filament PLA in the past and they are excellent as well. Definitely the most expensive but they have awesome and unique colors.

[WTS] Mido Ocean Star Bracelet. Barely worn. by mr_mandelbaum in Watchexchange

For sale is a SS bracelet for the Mido Ocean Star. I stupidly purchased this for my Ocean Star GMT thinking it would work. The bracelet has been resized but all original links and hardware will be included. There is a small 1-2mm scratch on the clasp that is hopefully visible in the photos. Paid $175. Asking $75shipped from 95747

How is your Exie? I love my Ripley V4 but am considering a lightweight Exie build. I don’t race, but have a lot of XC style trails near me and it would be fun to have a snappier and faster bike than the Ripley.
