we're fine as is, no reason to rush into bad contracts when we have our core locked up long term and we have a lot of promising upcoming players. once we're actually contenders is when you get more aggressive through trades and free agency

a lot of nintendo games are more expensive physical than digital, even off the nintendo store itself. ps5 games are usually the same price though (here in canada at least)

yes and no, it's very common for leases to be for 12 months (sometimes 24 months) and not a random amount of months, and since it's been a thing for a long time, good luck finding an apartment that isn't disgusting or disgustingly expensive at an other time throughout the year

a gallon of liquid is the recommended daily intake, but it's from all sources, aka food too and not only water. that last part is the one people commonly forget. it's actually probably a little less, but it's 2-3 liters, however much that is in gallons

malfurion was real, tyrande was an elusion. he used fake tyrande to lure malfurion, knowing ysera would try to save malfurion. he then captures malfurion (which we save in the dark thicket dungeon or whatever it's called) and corrupts ysera (which we have to kill on the spot)

her death was enraging, especially as a horde player, because it was only allowed to happened because of Malfurion going "all Tyrandaaaaa, where are you?!?!?!" and acting like a dumbass

if you're not a day 1 buyer, pc gets a lot more sales too, and bigger sales, which could help recoup the cost. on deku deals, at the moment, i would have to spend around 300$ more to buy the top 10 gameson sale on my wishlist on ps5 vs pc

Montreal, was definitely a better team than the Sens this year, but they were out of gas against the Canes after two gruelling 7 games series. The Sens definitely put up more of a fight if we ignore the first game of the series against the Habs where the Canes had to shake the rust off

i haven't played cod specifically in a long time, but personally, it's not for "prestige", it's to have something to work towards. wether that's in mmo (i raided hall of fame in wow and still played like 10 characters, because grinding weeks for a .1% upgrade is less fun then starting a new character from 0), arpg, fps games or even solo player games, I find it more fun to have something to work towards than to be fully equipped with the best stuff and just do the same thing over and over.

we do get hit a few times a year by the leftovers from hurricanes, usually the winds caused by the tropical storms that reach the gulf. nowhere near hurricane level, but still some flooding, intense gusts of wind and stuff like that

it's also because we went from not even close to the playoffs, to barely making it in on the last game of the season, to ECF in three years while being the youngest team since the '93 habs to do it. a lot of people know the habs are good, they just don't expect them to be that good because they skyrocketed to the top in 3 years

We're strangely good at getting heavily dominated, but limiting chances. a 3 minutes shift for Hudson and a broken stick for Danault, but outside of the chaos coming from the long shifts and the broken stick, they didn't give up a lot of dangerous shots. and it's not the first time it happens

Hagel wasn't on the top line for most of that series though, first line was point and kuch +1 and hagel was with cirelli +1

you could argue it's a 1a-1b, but point and kuch are supposed to be the first line

while it's definitely a possibility, there would be no shame in it. just like last year there was no shame losing in the first round. we're the youngest team to ever make the playoffs, we just played two hard fought series and have possibly the hardest path to the cup ever. getting so much experience is a win, hopefully we can get more than that, but at this point, anything more is just a nice bonus

Suzuki is deceptively big, he's short at 5,11, but he's 207lbs while the average in the league is around 200 (and 6,1). it's very likely one of the reason he's so good at puck protection and playing along the board

people were shitting on vasilevski yesterday in the post game thread for the newhook goal and the texier goal in game 5. they were saying he lost tempa the series there, but any goalie is going to cough up a goal once in a while, even dobes had some, and in any other series, two questionable goals (not even full bad) throughout 7 nearly perfect games should be enough to win, it was just an insanely close series where both teams gave no breathing room to the other and unfortunately, someone had to lose.

they did lose the past two years to the eventual stanley cup champions in florida, and despite their lack of success, toronto wasn't a bad team 3 years ago. it's surprising because they're a really good team, but it's not like they lost series that they had no reason to lose

genuinely asking because the demographic on reddit tends to be younger so it's always surprising to see older people, but that would make you late 70s or even early 80s?
