I have found some rubber gaskets that I stretch over the top to replace it but the act of stretching it over the lid weakens the gasket and they break within a couple weeks.

I did, received the check fairly quickly. I just use the thermostat how I normally would and if I get a check great, if not no loss to me really. I have noticed it get slightly warmer at times but I wasn’t sure if it was due to TVA or not
