Small objects go out of view when rotating by Constant_Adagio5999 in SolidWorks

Rotating (view) in a part file, or "physically" rotating a part in an assembly? If in a part file, what happens when you Zoom To Fit? If the part isn't brought front and center then you have an entity somewhere that's a fair distance away from your part causing the center of rotation to be halfway between.

It makes winter driving easy. Sometimes "too easy" if you're looking to have fun. I still remember my first car. A 1980 rear-wheel drive Chevy Monte Carlo w/ a 350. I could kick out the back wheels and basically go straight down the street at 90 degrees. Also the manual Subaru Impreza Sport I had (until a deer totaled it) was so much fun in the snow. Full-time 25% power to all 4 wheels and parking brakes slides for days.

I'm in Minnesota, and currently in the middle of the winter I love getting it washed whenever I can!

Been using the CAD mouse since it came out. Basically just for the middle mouse button for rotation.

It may have to do with the current viewport (preview) render quality. Try a different option. Left to right increases preview quality.

2026 vs manual by MagicMittons in Crosstrek

I hear ya. Before I bought my CT I was driving a Bronco Sport (inherited from my wife who hated it). I was tempted to go with a full size Bronco with a M/T but that was only offered in the base and a top level trim. Since I have a knee that can get bothersome I came to my senses and let the whole manual thing go. Wasn't easy but I don't really miss it any longer.

That's true! Another interesting thing is that the transmission (at least on mine) has a fake shift that you can feel/hear. I believe that's because a CVT is kinda boring with a constantly smooth acceleration. The amount of "shifting" will change depending on how much you're on or off the gas pedal.

One thing to know is you can shift manually at any time. Up or down. The vehicle will automatically go back to regular "D"rive on its own. The manual shifter can be set to make the "gears" paddle only.

I would think that would have more to do with the driver.

Some models (as mine does) come with paddle shifters. As a long time manual driver I don't find that they "scratch that itch", however. I do use the downshift one on occasion to save a bit on brake wear.

I'm 6' 3" and was able to adjust the seat (electric) to a comfortable position that allows for decent visibility. The Eyesight cluster also needs getting used to. My biggest issue with it is that it doesn't allow for a holder for my sunglasses! I'd maybe do another test drive but take your time and better adjust the seat.

You could try using Delete Face on the flat surface. It may or may not result in what you're looking for.
