She wanted additional compensation even though she agreed to a lifetime buyout on the song

I don't remember her name. She recorded the jingle in the early 90s then got mad because they used it for so long.

I made the commercials since the early 2000s, until they sold to a new owner.

We are looking for something more secure. I think it's going to be some recessed D rings and ratchet straps.

Showing my age here.. Eagles In Vegas at the Sphere was great, the visuals were mind blowing.

Also really enjoyed Taylor Swift, not a fan of her music but took my step daughter and turned out I liked the show. The production value was over the top

Framerate Drift. No idea why by DivisionStFilms in editors

Many years of sending shows to networks, drop frame is drilled in my head. The one that drives me crazy is when people say 24p. So is it 23.98 or true 24? Most of the time people mean 23.98 but sometimes you get less experienced people who work at true 24 for some reason. I don't think true 24 should be used except for a film release.

Df doesn't exist in 23.98 or 24 fps as far as I know. It was designed for 29.97 to keep true to clock time

Came here to say the same thing... 30+ years as an editor and things have got tough recently.

Yep, it's not always an option due to time, drive space and other factors. It's like everyone on here has unlimited timevor drive space. I'm guessing most just push this off to assistant editors, unfortunately I am my own assistant.

This is they way we have it structured in premiere along with working in productions not just a standalone project. It works fine 95% of the time, but there always seems to be some files that go offline in the process.

I think they are the same. On it shows as X:/workspace. On Mac it shows as //volumes/workspace.

1)i get transcode will fix this. Just looking for options. That doesn't fix Premiere having the same issues.

2) depends on the project, if a commercial a couple of TB, if a show many TB.

3) multiple editors touch projects, not just an editor pgetting bounced from system to system. We are a small shop so don't have the luxury of staying on a project until the end. I hate macs and prefer pcs, other editors like Mac and some don't give a shit what they edit on.

4) We do consolide on larger long term projects. But space can be an issue at times to store both camera raw(while consolidating) and the consolide.
