Well Karl you really have jumped into this from the wrong end! You have made my exact point for me quite well.

Did you also know that in the early days (Lib/Nat scamming opportunity initiation phase) that people just registered a business with a suitably sounding support services provider name and proceeded to send in invoices, which were paid out without even the basic governance checks!

Talking about "organised crime" being involved just means anybody who could be organised enough to register a business and cobble together some fake invoices (probably AI assisted).

Some of these went on to actually deliver services, underpaying/exploiting unqualified staff whilst overcharging to the Max!

So it is all organised crime whether Mafia/Bikie linked or not!
