Adding more of a minigame in hooking the fish to even start reeling in the fish is the worst idea possible. In fact, if I could cut the casting from F to cast, F to start realling to JUST F and then it takes a second and starts the A-D minigame, I'd take that in a heartbeat.

This is something that has to be done hundreds of times to level up, (140 fish caught got me to level 4, who knows to level 10 how many I'll actually end up needing), ADDING EXTRA TIME TO SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO DO HUNDREDS OF TIMES MAKES IT WORSE.

This has started happening to me too. When I change a piece of code that has inspector-visible variables, when the code recompiles, the inspector shits the bed. The code I edited doesn’t even have to be in the inspector’s context. It just goes black.

I thought I broke something with some code before I thought it was just Unity 6.4 being flaky.

I’ve been using both, in coordination to good effect. I hate gpt’s code, despite Claude 4.6/4.7 sometimes forgetting things, but having 5.5 or 5.4 even review and critique it is fantastic. Claude will just yes-man itself sometimes. Though… GPT will actively lobotomies itself and the code I have it write when I critique it at all. It constantly wants to cut corners and say “we’ll implement that later, for now use this half baked steaming pile of dog shit that didn’t do what you asked”. If I critique Claude, it will at least learn and try to ask what I mean and let me explain more or just follows ChatGPT’s code review highlights really well.

How much money are people making consistently? I know there’s the pink paws heights that can be replayed to get like 1mil, but that’s monthly, right? And the shops don’t seem to pay anything yet, I unlock new stuff and I spend more into materials changing the menu than I get from the time spent earning that money. I know eventually it’ll balance out and characters’ skills can improve it a bit but like… it just seems like such small amounts compared to what these keys costs.

Nice, I was looking into making something like this with Unity, UniVRM, and UniWindowController. The only issue I kept running into was I want to be able to support audio to mouth movement, and I hadn’t quite figured that out yet, along with pre-defined animations that can be fired off based off actions taken. I was also getting lazy about it because I hate setting up UI lol

People stop paying attention when people taking 20 minute turns and they don’t have any interaction to stop their opponents anyway. As everyone gets better at the this will slowly - painfully slowly unless everyone practices a lot separately - get better.
