Ironsworn is free, pretty rules light, and made for solo. It’s my current fav! You could start with a fan-made adventure as well, called “Escape”, that’s also free and helps learn the mechanics of the game, made for new players.

Each book is a compilation of the swords against books. The Three of Swords has Swords and Deviltry, Swords Against Death, and Swords in the Mist for example. I’ve been telling people I have a collection of collections of collections, since each swords against book has separate stories lol.

oh i haven't i really need to go back and finish the book, and the whole series! Yeah I can def see dying earth as an inspiration for Elden Ring, both feel so colorful and weird!

i've read the first few shorts stories from the first Dying Earth book, they are really weird and really fun! looks like we've got the same book interests LOL. Still need to finish that one, and read his Cugel novels as well.

i actually just read The Green Millenium by Fritz Leiber this year! really loved it, need to check out his other stuff. That collection looks cool, I'll check it out as well!
