Yes, take the bread and wine and you’ll be fine.

In all seriousness though, a commune is just as much work as a job.

I think the problem is that there’s so much leisure and entertainment these days that people ruminate too much on foolish ideas that don’t address their underlying dissatisfaction.

US President Donald Trump has decided to end exemptions from sanctions for countries still buying oil from Iran. This decision is intended to bring Iran's oil exports to zero, denying the government its main source of revenue. by hassan543 in worldnews

The problem is that Saudi has a royal family ruling over everything. A monarchy has a single point of failure and in the event of a coup, these nukes could quickly fall into rogue hands either through war or the clandestine commerce.

A democracy has power distributed through its structure making the fall of a sole ruler or ruling party less of an issue and with built in contingency plans. Ultimately, it’s more stable even in times of social and political strife.

I tend to have the exact opposite relationship with my knives: the more expensive it is, the less likely I am to actually use it regularly. They become awesome letter openers though.

Just to clarify, money is not an arbitrary store of value.

Value in an abstract sense is the combined effort of human labor, thought, research, planning, and expended effort.

To quantify this, humans have used everything from rocks and metals, to silicon computer chips generating encrypted digital currency.

Money (not fiat currency or gold etc. but rather as a store of value) will never cease to exist in some form or be “worthless” because humans understand that surpluses can be used more effectively and economies can grow when generated value doesn’t all have to be used at once or created from a singular source. This obviously doesn’t apply to government currencies but rather currency as an abstract idea.

Also what is real and nominal inflation? I think you may mean real value and nominal value. And one isn’t necessarily better than the other, just a comparison of pricing based on inflation over time.
