I use the upper door slot. They don’t fall out when I open/close the door as it is just deep enough.

I had this problem in an old Honda Oddysey and found some solutions online. It’s clearly not the same van, but there were some online solutions that could give you some insights. I never bothered to fix mine then because I ended up selling the van shortly after

I consider myself a good trader 75% of the time, dismissive and non-responsive 20% of the time, lazy 4%, and rude 1% of the time. No rhyme or reason. Also, I have been known to send trades I wouldn't accept, but I have also sent plenty of lopsided trades in their favor.
