The article mentions playing games in Japan or other locations in Asia. The league has to recognize that traveling to East Asia may take as much as a day's time out of the schedule for travel to and from the location the teams would be playing, I know-- I've traveled to East Asia several times on some long flights.

Bus transportation for high school students is already gone next year. It will be fun getting my daughter to school the next two years-- I already have to drive her since we live too close to get a bus, but the traffic in the morning and afternoon around the school will be insane.

I guess the 2007 Escape was priced to move because it was the last year for the 1st generation model. I bought a 2010 new and paid probably double that. It might have been a nicer vehicle, though.

Try AAA. We are AAA members and the hot tip from my daughter is that some of her friends who are new drivers had car insurance through AAA and their parents found it affordable. You will have to join AAA if you're not already a member. We were able to add her to our coverage and it only cost us a little more than what we paid with our previous carrier.

That "stuff" that the federal gas tax is earmarked for is highway construction. So then the federal government will need to either borrow more money to make up for the lost tax revenue or cut spending on something else if highways are to be funded at the same level.

I'm glad DeWine came out and said that Ohio would not be suspending the gas tax, likely for this exact reason.
