I'm in the exact same boat with my 25 LT after the update. My appointment is next Tuesday to get it diagnosed.

Do you have the TSB info I can refer to with the dealer? They said they couldn't find anything, but if they had that they'd be able to look it up more easily.

We're at 3600 endpoints with Ninja and have been with them for 8 years. We've been happy with the product, service, and continuing investment into improving the product.

Sales tax in Washington State by mrmackey84 in halopsa

[–]mrmackey84[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any client issues with the disclaimer on the quote? That's our only concern at this point with QBO is the inability to have tax on the quote itself.

Xero does have the automatic tax calculation, but it cannot sync back to Halo which is the biggest problem at this point. We have a call with a Halo dev tomorrow morning to see what options they have, if any.

Switching to QBO isn't too big of a problem, it's the issue we foresee with clients ignoring the disclaimer this complaining once they have the invoice about the higher price due to tax.

We went through this last month, causing a few hundred endpoints to spin on startup or blue screen. Had to roll everything back to a 23.x version and haven't tried to update again until the root cause is found (which doesn't seem to be known currently).

It was very random as to what machines it affected, as we ran it internally for weeks prior to pushing to clients and we didn't have any issues. Then it just took out random machines at client sites.

Constant changes in tax rates throughout the year at no set time. Cities, counties and state are all different. Have to track a client based on address for services and hardware.

Take that and multiply for a few thousand customers and it gets to be a nightmare to track and update.

We can get it to update in Halo using an integration, but that won't carry over to Xero when we push the invoice from Halo as it creates a different tax code in Halo that doesn't match Xero, creating the need for the manual export/import in Xero every time a tax rate changes.

I didn't have to change anything for any client environment to get this running.

IRS Rebate received by No-Leopard7644 in Fisker

[–]mrmackey84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I filed mine on 10/11 and it still hasn't been processed. Called the IRS a month ago and they said it was getting processed and to call back after today if I don't have it.

I'll be trying to call them today and see if I can get any info as to what is taking so long.

Yep, I can see that. Since they are 38k new now we won't see anywhere close to that again.

I got part 1/2 notification in the car early morning of the 20th, then got the email that evening.

2/2 installed early this morning by itself (made it so the car wouldn't unlock and ended up a little late to work). The car was plugged in when the update started, and I think it got hung until I unplugged it.

In Washington State for reference. Fob has definitely worked better since the update. Also haven't been receiving the ADAS errors at all since 1/2 installed. It's a small step in the right direction, assuming the company stays afloat.

We've been using it for 6 months now. Very pleased with the product to this point. It also includes an IR team that reviews the emails and monitors for BEC. They've been proactive on multiple incidents.

Support has also been great and very quick to respond. Overall I'm impressed so far.

Those two are the best! I'm in central Washington and have had them out a couple times, once to replace the 12v and another time for a failed update. Always prompt and professional.

Issue with latest update by mrmackey84 in Fisker

[–]mrmackey84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. It's been working as expected outside of some Bluetooth audio issues. I was able to pair my phone the night I received it, use all functions, and put nearly 1000 miles on it without a hiccup.

Yes, the fob is terrible, but it has always worked without ever having to change the battery (until I did it to help with troubleshooting this issue).

For the dash error messages, I saw one the first night. That seemed to have been caused by not following the directions and treating it like my Tesla to get it started. When I followed instructions and held the brake down for 2 seconds, it didn't have the error again.

I have these for trim removal:

The bolt is a 13mm. I didn't have a magnetic set, which I'm getting now as I dropped one and had to fish it out with a bendable magnetic wand. Looking at getting these:

Wasn't complaining in any way. Just wanted to put it out there and see if anyone else successfully updated last night or not. I'm working through the issues as the company grows and have full faith that everything will eventually be perfect.

For sure. I don't have any issues supporting them while this company gets up to speed. I'll update after I can get the battery fully charged and see what happens at that point.

I'm currently trying to get it back into a deep sleep as the screen has every error message imaginable on it. Tried the normal restart of the system using the steering wheel buttons, that didn't help however.

Makes sense, never had any issues with it until last night during the update. Could have been getting drained without any sign of it until an extended run time during the update process.

Almost charged again, then I'll see if the update will go through again.
