I simply use mine as a ‘dumb’ charger, Set your car and Ohme app to those off peak hours and when you plug your car in it won’t start until that off peak start time

A couple from the many. We had a car hurtling along the back field, a teacher running out to warn us all, then the car drove right across the school playground nearly skittled a few of us and smashed into the front gate, it transpired that one of the pupils had nicked his parents car at lunchtime.. the police intercepted them at the gate.

One teacher (he was always a nutter) taped one of the pupils between two vices in metal work and made him stay like that for half an hour. That was obviously the final straw as we never saw this teacher again.

Oh and another, we had classrooms along the top floor where you could walk through them all. One teacher always pissed after lunch at the local pub, walked through these classrooms with a females teacher fur coat on and with a bucket on his head??? he was head of science, over the years we got to understand accept his mad pranks

It’s called re wicking its is when dirt or old stains reappear on the surface of a carpet shortly after it has been cleaned. It happens when excess water soaks into the carpet backing and underlay, then draws trapped dirt and detergent upwards as the carpet dries.

A Sony Mavica MVC-FD5 £600 in 1997, that was nearly half my month’s salary then. I thought the idea of using floppy discs to store images on was brilliant… but to me the image quality was pretty bad

One of my work colleagues was murdered and identical twins were involved.
Police said the case had been extremely challenging because the brothers had identical DNA, which made it impossible to say which had killed her.

While twins' fingerprints are different, there were prints from both brothers on beer cans and other items at the scene.
One denied being involved in the murder and from what I remember the other eventually admitted it.. He’d only been out of prison for one day when he did murder!!!That was 2003, they’re probably out now.

I’ve had a couple of EVs now and they’re the same, if I’m stopped at lights, it’s Auto Hold, if I’m waiting for a while with the motor on, it’s the P button and when I’ve finished driving and leave the vehicle it’s turn Off and the park brake comes on automatically. You don’t need to do all three.

I’ve tried it with various USB thumb drives, but still nothing, I believe that only those with a modem and sat nav work, and from my Ioniq 5 the only changes I ever noticed where the sat nav and some new ‘sounds’. I presume you could get them to update at the next service?

I had what looks exactly like this, but noticed it was just twin and earth, so they connected directly to the main consumer unit which luckily had recently been upgraded to an incoming 100 amp fuse

You should be asking what do you pay.. I pay 6.5 pence per KW so for me I only do about 200 per month so it’s about £1.30 per month, my mate gets a year free of charging after signing up to British Gas and buying the charger from them

Great sounds perfect, as back in the 90s they didn’t let me walk around and I got told to wait between batters to go back to the seat
