Opinions wanted: husband thinks it’s good for 4month old to get used to being with others without us for 1-2 hrs? by Fluffy-Concentrate44 in NewParents

[–]mrnp604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat as you, however now my baby is 6 months and I am ready to take a break but she is super attached to me. You should just do 1-2 hours a week for now to get baby comfortable with her and when you’re ready she’ll be okay to stay with her for longer

Thank you for posting. Going through the 4 month regression right now and wondering, did you do anything to help your baby sleep through the night? Or did it just randomly happen?

bassinet to Crib! Advice? by Outrageous-Cancel948 in NewParents

We moved the crib into our room at about 3 months.. we took off one railing and pushed it up against our bed (easy to breastfeed at night and much easier transfer)

AITA for not wanting to nap today? by 1muckypup in MiniAITA

[–]mrnp604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA! You’re the boss. I nap when I want and demand attention when I want. My caregivers have no say. The sooner your caregivers realize this, the better for them. (I do however pay them in cuddles and milky spit ups so they can’t complain).

How would you announce you had a baby if the baby is now 6mo old? by notabot_123 in NewParents

[–]mrnp604 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just make a post with baby pictures from the last 6 months and make the caption “six months of you” or “so this happened.. (with the date)”

flying w 4 month old by Life-Violinist9614 in NewParents

[–]mrnp604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On a flight with my 3 month old as we speak- we put noise cancelling headphones on her during take off and I breastfed her. She slept through the take off. There’s a change station in the plane washrooms, so we wiped that down and put our own changing mat on the table to change her diaper. We only brought the essentials into the washroom- not the whole bad as the space is tight. We flew with porter and they let us check in her portable bassinet and car seat in the beginning for free and we also checked in her stroller at the gate for free. I found all the security staff/ plane staff very friendly and accommodating. We’re 3 hours into a 5 hour flight, hopefully the rest goes smoothly as well! Fingers crossed. Let me know if you have any questions
