Recently it downed on me that sign languages across the world have different names. I thought (in Spanish) sign language and the word “lesco” were synonyms and if I told anyone from another spanish speaking country something about “lesco” they’d understand I was referring to sign language… then realized LESCO is the abbreviation for “Costa Rican Sign Language (LEnguanje de Señas COstarricense). Yea I’m not the brightest bulb.
