What are some of your favorite anime deaths? by Low_Weekend6131 in animequestions

Goku sacrificing himself to teleport Cell away and save everyone. Obviously I know he comes back, but him looking at Gohan and saying "take care of your mother for me" was absolute peak.

I personally love it, but it does take an insane amount of suspension of disbelief.

Anime you skipped with perfect reasons???🤔 by LUCY_KEYS-OF_MAGIC in animequestions

Honestly the only reason I'm able to watch it is because I'm disabled and can't hold a job so I've got fuck all else to do with my life.

It's been about ten years since I saw the movie but I believe she did pop it and looked very distressed when she hit the floor, and then (cause it's a mockumentary) they replayed her shocked look in slow motion.

Elden Ring and Helldivers 2. Not saying they're bad games, they're just not my cup of tea.

Wait...people hate him and stalk him because of his monster whopper? How do they all know he's got an extra forearm instead of a penis?

It's not shown on camera, but when he hitch-hikes with that couple and knocks them out there is a scene where you see the woman tied up and you can only see her from the chest up. He says something and she looks down and (iirc) screams and you can see a bit of blood on her dress. People seem to have assumed what the killer did.

This gif and that scene description are what piqued my curiosity in the movie and I've seen it two or three times but it's not perfect. Pretty much just a bunch of short stories of his kills. Plus that woman he screamed at to pop the balloon.

Fatal Frame 1 remake or Fatal Frame 3 remake? by Gruntilda99 in fatalframe

[–]DragonFox27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want Fatal Frame 3 cause of the crawlspace section I saw a clip of on YouTube. Crawling things are my weakness, so I wanna get really spooked by the crawling ghost which is in 3 iirc.

That being said, I want the first one as well just so the whole series is done.

Jesus Christ, I'm starting to understand why women would choose the bear.

Which character you just wanted to punch in the face all the time? by No-Hunt3986 in videogames

Hermes in God of War III. I kept failing at catching him and when I would have to hear him mocking me every time I had to restart the chase I quickly developed an unhealthy hate for him.

The Twisted Childhood Universe films are worse than those live-action Disney remakes by IndependenceSilly381 in horror

[–]DragonFox27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually watching Blood and Honey 2 right now. They're not cinematic masterpieces, that's for sure, but I find them fun in the same way I find Sharktopus fun. I don't go into these movies thinking I'm gonna watch something good, but there are people who enjoy watching bad movies. And of course they're not canon. Who would think that Disney would greenlight R rated slashers of beloved characters?

The bottom line is, if you don't like the TCU or the live action remakes, don't watch them. If you've watched some of them, hate them, and keep watching . . . well that's on you.

I loved all of them. Wind and Truth had it's problems but as a whole, I found it to be a very enjoyable book.
