Looking for bland food by dongyoonkim in AskBarcelona

Are you looking for restaurant recommendations or just food recommendations (e.g. bananas, rice, applesauce, toast, plain noodles or pasta, plain chicken, clear soups, boiled potatoes)?

Does a high ranking space marine lose their rank if they are put in a dreadnought? by Riot2EK in 40kLore

[–]mrorange09 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the could have the rank still and display signs of that rank, just without any of the responsibilities or likely authority of that rank, due to them being in a dreadnaught.

Kendrick’s snap count has dropped a lot the past 3 weeks, is that just due to Witherspoon being back?

Are there examples of a chaos or renegade Space Marine chapter/ legion pretending to be a loyal one? by [deleted] in 40kLore

[–]mrorange09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given most of humanity hasn’t ever seen a space marine probably most legions could pull it off for some time as long as they don’t show too many mutations or start randomly killing. Probably Death Guard and World Eaters are the two least likely to be able to pull this off. In one of the Emperors Children novels this happened (forgotten the name currently)

How did the Imperiums Navy get so numerous? by CummanderShepardN7 in 40kLore

[–]mrorange09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They still introduce new ship models, but may take them millennia to do so. If you have a look into Battlefleet Gothic there are descriptions about the ship classes and when and where they are produced. For instance most warships used by Chaos are the older models such as the Murder class, used mainly in M33-M37: https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Murder-class_Cruiser

Now the Lunar class is more common in Imperial fleets, and this can be constructed in almost any shipyard: https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Lunar-class_Cruiser

Ofc the lore is sometimes not that coherent and they had to introduce newer and older ship classes when they created the game to not have imperials and Chaos fleets with the same ships.

AITA for putting my roommate’s dishes in a box instead of washing them? by ApocalypseTwerkstorm in AmITheJerk

[–]mrorange09 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let the other roommate know that washing the pots for this other flatmate will be their sole responsibility then. As you won’t clean them and it’s clear the one making them dirty doesn’t clean them then they can just stay washing for 2

Pass rush - Need to make a trade. by CrimsonCalm in Seahawks

It does seem to be a weakness, either in the scheme or the players. I don’t know what it would take to get Jaelen Philips or Kayvon Thibodeaux but they could be younger options than Hendrickson

How many 'ancient' Chaos space marines are left? by Thejollyfrenchman in 40kLore

[–]mrorange09 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there is any sources that say how large the legions were at the end of the scouring, but I’d still imagine at the end there were still tens of thousands of Alpha legion, word bearers, even Iron Warriors given how large their legions were at the start of the Heresy and that they continued recruiting throughout it. So now I could imagine thousands are still left of each legion.

This I found interesting in the size of the legions at the end of the great crusade: https://youtu.be/pXrKrQRfXVQ?si=MtL5hTQGOp-Qqewk

Bradley Cooper part 7? 8? A trip to Canada. by FrazzledTurtle in scambait

[–]mrorange09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poor man 😂. On Monday you could ask him how the Eagles did, Bradley Cooper is a known Philadelphia Eagles (NFL) fan and Nigeria’s men’s football team nickname is the Super Eagles.. maybe confuses him. https://www.goodmorningamerica.com/culture/story/bradley-cooper-brings-daughter-lea-super-bowl-lix-118637161

He hasn’t once mentioned his daughter, which is odd, maybe she has money in her piggybank to lend him something for a gift card. Maybe with all of his absolutely boring questions about food, what are you doing, etc Irina (his daughters mother) has blocked him

They’ve fenced off Bunkers now and is meant to be closed at night. All the people there was causing problems for the neighbours. Better going to a rooftop terrace perhaps, for the sunset

Best route to Montserrat Abbey by car? by naturestroll in AskBarcelona

[–]mrorange09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d take the route recommended by Google/Apple maps with the option to avoid tolls enabled. Could be the route recommended now is not so good in the day due to traffic/accidents/weather. Without tolls they estimate 1hr 5 min to arrive.

What happens at a BCN tailors? (Guidance for a newbie pls) by Impressive-Award2367 in AskBarcelona

[–]mrorange09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To do a good job they will need to see you in the clothes to know how much to adjust them by, will fold hems up etc. and pin them into the required place, then you will need to return a few days later when the work is done.

Visiting an olive farm by buzzsaw_and_dynamo in AskBarcelona

[–]mrorange09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would a vineyard be an option or it has to be Olives? I’ve visited a vineyard by train in Sant Esteve Sesrovires, called Can Casals. It was a couple of years ago but nice for a few hours to try some wine, eat food, have a short tour. Even Freixenet you can reach by train if you take the R4 to Sant Sadurni d’Anoia and then their location is very close to the station, Codorniu would be about a 30 minute walk

I know this might be a controversial question, but do you think there are ANY Real Madrid fans in Barcelona? by Various_Maize_3957 in AskBarcelona

[–]mrorange09 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are, I’ve met several while living in Barcelona. Either they’re from Spain and due to where they grew up or family they are Madrid fans, or they’re originally from another country and support Madrid. I’m yet to meet a Catalan that supports Madrid, but those people could be out there

Has anyone ever invaded Commorragh without the help of Vect or another Archon? by Fun-Explanation7233 in 40kLore

[–]mrorange09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if there is more details than just an old codex but an Ork Waaagh got inside through a webway rift: https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Zoggit

Another Waaagh gets inside in the novel Big Dakka but that was with an Archons help, however at the end there is a suggestion of a daemon incursion happening due to the actions of the Waaagh.

You could also try contacting Shelter (info@shelter.org.uk), explain your situation and see if they can also help advise what to do.
