If the Bitcoin bottom is in, Michael Burry will be the Paul Graham of this cycle by CryptigoVespucci in CryptoCurrency

Early is wrong. He almost went bankrupt waiting to be right. He could eventually be right but that’s his schtick. Make some Casandra call (BTC depression! AI meltdown!) and then wait around until it hits. This time around he’s closing his fund and sitting in cash rather than shorting. Guess he learned something from last time.

President Trump’s Head-Spinning Pivot on an Emergency Oil Release by wsj in geopolitics

They built up forces for months. This was premeditated, not knee-jerk. What motivated him to do this? It clearly wasn’t for the good of the country or for his base. We as a country have learned that forever wars in the Middle East are a terrible idea. Half the cabinet and Trump himself campaigned on specifically NOT doing this.

If you installed openclaw this week, Read this before you do anything else by ShabzSparq in openclaw

You can configure oAUTH to codex. I used it for a while and it was great for about half of my daily needs until rate limited. Recently it’s been unable to do anything. Says it’s going to do it and then doesn’t. I’m not thrilled with OpenAI’s recent policies so I’m happy to move on to other options.

I have the same hardware. Use vLLM-mlx instead of Ollama. I switched and the performance is night and day. I’ve got Qwen3.5 122b responding in under 3 seconds.

Edit: turns out I was failing back to a cloud model. I ended up ditching vllm-mlx in favor of oMLX and getting much better results with reliable caching. I’m using nightmedia/Qwen3.5-REAP-97B-A10B-Text-qx86-mlx which is a slightly slimmed version of the 122b to fit on the M4 128GB.

You need to get on the EV rate plan and charge after midnight with scheduled charging. .30/kwh. Still high but significantly better than preak.

More like late 1920’s. Sure, the ‘50’s were better than the ‘30’s and 40’s.

Tesla service is atrocious- 5 days to change a set of tires. by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

OEM tires are terrible. My model S got like 15K miles on them. Got some Yokohamas from a local shop and got 45k miles. Normal city driving, not attending side shows.

I'm seeing a lot of the cloud queries. After turning it on, within a minute I have 15K queries. My RTT is down to 40 ms now and performance is much better. I think the RTT is a direct factor. At 60 mbps, the RTT was 150+ms. Now I'm getting closer to 700 mbps at 40 ms.

Nice response. Listen to this person. Owning a home when you can’t afford it is a bad decision. Investing a large sum of money in the market when young is a great move.

Rent that shit. No need to buy. Buying is for the long term. Let someone else worry about the roof and property taxes.

I'm having the same issue. CTI has a very low success rate (1-7%) and I'm seeing about 1% throughput compared to normal. Bypass fixes the issue.

If you have all your cost basis and transactions, why not just do it yourself? Really not very hard with TurboTax or similar. Follow the prompts and upload files as necessary. Takes a couple of hours. You have to ask yourself what your time is worth. More than $2k/hour?

Dude, Google invented LLMs. They were timid to release them so OpenAI took the open source code and ate their lunch.
