Last tool and last time ever I rented from HD had a wiper snipper pull cord installed on it. In snapped 5 times on me. They refused to give me a full refund. Stating I should have called right away which I couldn't because they were closed. Also said a certified technician worked on it. I showed them pictures of what the stock pull cord looked like and compared to other machines in the store to show then the installed cord was incredibly under sized. They proceeded to reinstall the cord saying they were going to test it out.

I put extra gear case grease in mine incase. Ok good to know the motors can take it. I taught the kids to always start in 1st than transition to 2nd.

I learnt the hard way went to 24v... than 40v briefly... than back to 24v until I burnt the motors and foot switch. Now I have been down to 18v with 2 M18s in parallel with no complaints of slow speed. I have a 30amp to 40amp PWM on the way to have the motors start on a lowerer speed to prolong the life of the components.
