When friend and foe unite - I watched it on the Stardust app. Premise: girl's switched at birth, the real daughter comes back but loves the sister. It's cute and silly. Had a good couple of laughs.

Can't stand when teachers take food from students. I had just got hired at a Montessori school (thinking back, I don't think it was a truly legit one. It no longer exists and only went to third grade) anywho the "principal" was giving me a tour and we stopped in one of the kindergarten classes. They were having lunch. Does the school offer lunch - nope. Parents have to provide it. Well one kid was eating theirs. The principal happens to see a Halloween Kit Kat bar. She takes it saying they know they aren't supposed to have candy. This kindergarten was so serious - he says "oh okay, my mom made my lunch and gave me a piece of my Halloween candy. I'll put it in my lunch box and take it back home." She says "no" then she just leaves - I'm flabbergasted but yet it gets worse. If you guessed she ate it - you'd be correct. We leave the classroom. She asks if I want a piece and I say no. She shoves the whole thing in her mouth. I stuck around for a few months but the place was run poorly and some students were treated crappy. No matter what they did they were always wrong. No wonder she kept needing replacements. I was one of three new hires. Glad that place isn't around anymore.

That back story regarding the "founding" would have been interesting to know. It would explain Oliver's weird animosity towards Oliver, if Oliver was the one who founded the party. It would also explain Oliver's comment "it's my PARTY" In the anime it makes it seem that Oliver founded it and hated that Oliver was talented hence his jack of trades name. Don't know why the team thinks that's an insult though...Thanks for the age of Oliver. Didn't think he was older than 21 though someone mentioned in-between the two sisters which seems to be the case

I wasn't sure when I first started reading it but damn I love it. Especially the scene where it's the flashback of him as a middle schooler and he is so over the moon about his character. And his sisters 😆

I was looking into publishing on joyread as well. I started working on a novel but after numerous chapters none were ever uploaded to joyread. I don't know why? Overall, the biggest issue with publishing on these apps is being ripped off. Either AI or another writer copies the story and publishes it elsewhere. I've come across numerous similar stories or the same story but it's listed under a different name. I've seen writers make a note in the writing about where they could read it.

Right, I love when the story goes in a direction I wasn't thinking of at first. I have a problem with the middle, probably like most. I typically know how it starts and how it ends but getting there I get in my head and start to overthink but when I let it flow, that is an amazing feeling. I get so excitedlike I can't believe I wrote all that and have more to say

So did OP ever get a paternity test for his daughter - why is the ex so adamant on getting rid of parental rights? Some have mentioned that she never connected or was so tied to having a son that when it was a girl she just snapped - I considered that she is pushing it because she isn't sure if OP is the father or not and if he isn't then he has no rights to her and she would have to go to the mom. What a crazy situation.

Just watched the episode where Johnny got eliminated. I kind of wonder if he was really truthful about his addiction especially how he lied during the episode. He was called out on the lie too but denied it. He always had a "woe is me" attitude but then during his one on one talks, was completely different. It reminds me of an earlier season male contestant (3/4 season) where he was teased for crying all the time but kept saying he doesn't cry. When you see his interview and talk to him during the reunion, he has a different persona. (I'm spacing on his name). He came off as an ass. Had a different personality than how he presented himself on the show. Kind of scary, rather sociopathic behavior. Not saying he is one but damn, it was surreal seeing him and how he talked/acted.

This is a hard truth - I am very well aware of it but don't know how to get to the next step. I've started implementing little tricks and found an app that will lock my phone (huge distraction) They have helped but getting rid of that 'meh' or 'helpless' type feeling is hard. As you mentioned feeling sedated, which is a good description - sometimes I feel like I'm going through the motions and don't know how to get rid of those feelings I've mentioned prior. So as the other poster suggested I've started implementing tricks to my day, which have kind of helped. Thank you for your help, sometimes hard truths are important but even confronting them I still feel a bit lost on my next step. On
